Leon Clarke did well. Worked hard, fought hard, scored a goal. What more do people want? Just because he's not DMC doesn't mean he's shit. The negativity does my head in. Give the guy a chance ffs.

Some people just jump on a bandwagon, and don't seem to care what it's about and whether it's right or wrong.

What did McSheffrey do that was so amazing? I don't get the hype He had good touches and got in good positions but made the wrong choices all of the time and was greedy?

Robins says he loves working at Coventry and is sure the off field problems will be sorted in time.

Just call us the Man Utd of league 1 with all these come backs. There was a time where if the opposition took the lead the game was over

Didn't think it was a great performance, Preston had a lot of the ball but we had more quality in the final third. Preston's 2 goals were very lucky but tbf our two were keeper errors

Don't think Robins will leave us at all with all of this happening, I think he has his head screwed on and realises he can do a hell of a lot more here than at Donny, carry on in this vein then a Norwich/Southampton may not be so out of reach, but then again im dreaming

I agree. He was okay. But there were better players on the pitch. Baker was immense, defence was solid. Apart from 2 lucky deflected goals, Preston had nothing for us to worry about. Did Murphy have a save?

Sky Sports commentators seemed to think he was incredible, wouldn't stop going on at him for the whole game. He did ok, over hit about 5 through balls to Clarke and lacked composure near the end when he went past the Preston defender

They usually do, they usually just take the fact he has been here a while and use that.

Some passes were overhit, was greedy towards the end when he shot across the goal when we were 2-1 down.

Fleck played worse though I think.

Watching that (admittedly on tv) on you can tell that LC is a good player. He reminded me of DMC on his debut to be honest, in that you could tell he wasn't match fit yet but still scored.

Oh incidentally, getthefuckinnnn!!!!

Were we watching the same game? Never stopped running. Never gave up and for most of the game he never had a City player anywhere near him. Did you notice how many defenders were on him all the time? This will give our other players lots more space.........and he got the winner :claping hands:

We're in league one Nick, your expecting far too much from him and falling in the trap of judging him by the standards he set at his peak.

Awful first touch though. I was slightly disappointed by him tbh.

Sheff was involved but generally his final ball was crap - either overhit or wrong decisiion made. He looks matchfit though for the first time since he re-signed.

On another note Edge disallowed header was onside and Clarke was onside for the winner.
