If you pop along to the PNE forum and take a look, you would think he had took a shit in Simon Grayson's pre match dinner, was it that bad?

There's no love lost with Preston is there !! I remember a few years ago at HR coming down Swan Lane and a Preston fan was shrieking abuse at Cov fans over some disputed decision or another after the game, he must have been 25 at least and this young and really quite small Cov lad of about 15 just waltzed up and smacked him on the mouth, no one blinked an eye except the loud mouth who started yelling for police protection !!

That sounds about right judging by some of the comments they are posting like 'he should have his fingers/jaw broken' etc....

No surprise there, the place was like a library all match even Barnsley made more noise, then they scored and they sounded like they had won the FA Cup with their phones lights flickering, then at the final whistle they were chanting the ref was not fit for his job !?

To be fair:

'He celebrated a goal!

He ran back to his own goal and slide on his knees towards the North End fans. How on earth should that cause a riot?

You are Nearly as bad as Spurs fans moaning at Walcott showing the score!! Jeez where a sensitive lot if that is deemed disgraceful'

He did that (not in front of the Preston fans directly) when we scored late against them in the JPT last season..

Thanks for the moral support Nick, I was starting to think I had wasted a 'wide on' as I save them for very special occasions...

Had a kid at my school who was similar, at the end of one term he was verbally laying into another younger student about his team being crap. Youngster twats him in the bullocks with his knee and leaves him lying on the ground in agony. So brainless goes to see the teacher in our next lesson and explains what happened, demanding justice etc. Teacher tells him he probably deserved it, that he's an annoying little sh1t and that the weakest kid in the school had just beaten him up.

Found out this was the teachers last day as he was leaving and didn't give a sh1t

Reading their thread there are just as many not bothered at all as there are whining about it. It probably wasn't the cleverest thing to do but equalising on 97 minutes with a goal of the season contender puts that out the window!

Sorry I hate PNE fans, due to many reasons but best reason is because they moan beyond belief...

We were pretty crap today to be honest. But the knob Enders turned on me when Davies tackled Cyrus studs up. I was just behind Elvis with some friends from Preston.I didn't help matters when I said you dirty bars- ---d and the ref sent him off . I also celebrated Moussa's wonder goal and got dogs abuse.97 minutes you dick . No ref said 4 mins extra . Do I care ???? celebrated in the invincibles lounge with another city fan. Just got back on the train to Nuneaton.PUSB

PNE singing who are you at CCFC

Indignant that Joe Murphy gave them some back in front of the famous town end that nobody has heard of

"He would not have done that at Millwall". No but what does that say about PNE

Confused me as well.

At first I thought it was a very seldom used fielding position in cricket.
