Talking of 'responsibility', I've played my part in steering this thread away from its subject - Apologies.
Back on track - Got my ticket, booked day off work, going with the Parkstone although they are leaving from The Wheel.

Yes and me . Anyway I’m going up early. We have a zoom quiz every Sunday which includes my sisters brother in law Preston season ticket holder. Made the mistake of asking him the best place to park. Answer his house come for a meal before and he’ll drive to the ground. Problem is if we win he’ll leave me at the ground and I wouldn’t put him past him.

It was . Loads of fighting in the carpark in Stanley park. We had the whole of the Annie Road end and possibly 1/2 the Kemlin road. At the time I think it was estimated to be 14K City fans but correct me if I’m wrong.

I was there that night with a school mate in the Kemlyn road stand. I remember looking down onto the City fans that were on the terrace and they were constantly being attacked and having stuff thrown at them. Outside it was mayhem. They tried to rob my uncle’s sheepskin jacket and he belted two of them. Really foggy night and took ages to get home through the fog. Reckon there was about 8000 Cov there that night

I worked with a Liverpool fan who was at Hillsborough and said it wasn’t the police’s fault, it was the pissed up Liverpool fans without tickets causing trouble outside. The police opened the gates and they rushed in crushing their own.
And it was them scouser again that stopped us playing in Europe after we won the Cup .

Nice to know if it had happened to us, which it nearly did, that some of our own support would have blamed our support, because all of the above happened at the 87 quarter final.

Also might be worth reading about the fan still alive zipped into a body bag, but not the police fault!
