Unfortunately, Swindon are a far more attractive option than CCFC and they will always get better loans and freebies while we are owned by SISU

Stop bringing in 30-40 s**t players. Get 6-8 GOOD players who's wages would be less in total, Then and only then will we see if SP is as good as he thinks he is eh?

We don't have 30 40 shit players, that's one of the problems, we only have 15-18 shit players.

Because people can't and won't see past SISU.

Exactly the same as when we had Thorn.

Exactly the same as Thorn insomuch as he had his leading goalscorer sold from under him and we got duly relegated afterwards.

And all those folk who lauded Waggott's 'good business' over the summer by selling Wilson and bringing in our 'dream team' of Tudgay and Jackson, eh?

Thorn and Pressley blameless? Hell no. Shared culpability with owners who won't keep a squad together? Hell, yes

Absoloutly correct and as a comparison keep a check on the Aston Villa results now that they have removed the manager (he had lost the dresing room)

You can add a few more Managers to that list - they have all gone. SISU are still here though

@ Cheshire.....Disagree mate, SP has used 40 players(Loans and freebies) since taking charge and not one of 'em is worth p**sing on.

And the fact he was unable to react to any changes on the pitch.
He struggled to see what was happening on the pitch when it was clearly obvious to all of the fans.
Talks after the game like he has watched something else.
Stubborn with tactics and "philosophies" which clearly aren't working.
Plays a system which doesn't work with our players, rather than finding a system to suit our players strengths. It is all well and good playing the formation like Spain and Germany and then whinging about players when it doesn't work, he should be finding the best system to play to our players strengths AND oppositions weakspots.
Parks the bus in the 80th minute when we are losing 1-0

Of course SISU have to take some of the blame. Tudgay and Jackson have both shown glimpses that they can do it, get them motivated and get them doing it. As well as the other 700 strikers he keeps signing and leaving out.

No I'm not saying that. All I'm suggesting here is that Pressley is getting most of the flak because he's the front man, he's visible, it's his 'lot'.....and if our squad isn't good enough, it doesn't matter how hard you try. And I guess in the end, you run out of ideas...and that seems to be what's happening at the moment!

the squad is good enough to not be in a relegation dog fight though.

the fact that every game we play we only have 1 goal margin either way shows that we are not absolutely terrible or great. middle of road team.

hes under achieving.

And you can't see it is SISU who have given us Thorn and Pressley.

Didn't the fans want Thorn at the time? Weren't the fans happy that Pressley got a new contract to stop teams like Huddersfield from snatching him?

I can see that people don't seem to be able to look at what happens on the pitch when we play and be able to pick from that what is also wrong.

When we miss all those penalties, that's Sisu's fault for greenlighting the signings. Everything bad I do is my parents' fault for having me I WISH I WAS NEVER BORN I'M GOING TO MY ROOM

I think what he means is that if Joe Elliott had refused to go around collecting shares SISU may not be here so it is his fault Burge was sent off and Reda missed that Pen against Worcester.

If fans celebrated a 4 year contract to any manager in our situation they would be bonkers. No manager or player will fulfil their potential under SISU. Nick this is what is going on, on the pitch; At the moment we have JS, TF, SW, SP and numerous players all failing in their duty. That suggests it is a corporate problem rather than an individual's. The fact we have been on a consistent slide during their seven year tenure suggests it is a corporate problem rather than an individual's. The constant changes at board room level, with no halt to the slide suggests it is a corporate problem rather than an individuals. The high turnover of players without improvement suggest it is a corporate problem rather than an individuals.

the dramatic fall off in support suggests the product is poor. They have lost fans, not to Wasps but to athird tier rugby union side in Coventry Rugby and local non league football teams. The overall company strategy is WRONG!!

In any normal boardroom the alarm bells would be ringing and the chairperson would be sacked. That being Joy Seppala. So either she is autonomous, or the corporate plan is nothing to do with football and CCFC, or maybe even both. Forget being a fan, even with a change of manager would you invest in Coventry City FC? I suspect most wouldn't as the business model to build a successful football club just isn't there!

No doubt SISU are the ultimate problem in this saga but SP is tactically enept and has to go. We are clueless at the moment, players are shot of confidence (and dont belong to us). Like Villa sometimes a change is needed to boost the team and get the team working to impress.

Players have to equally take responsibility as they are much better than they are performing, they seem to be picking up a wage with no commitmen to the cause.

Meanwhile, we thunder towards league 2 with no direction and not a prayer...

the trouble about sacking Pressley is, SISU will appoint the next manager, their record isn't good.

And hand him the same players, the same mentor in Waggot and the same budget constraints.

If you think this squad is good enough then you will blame SP,, if you think the squad is poor then you will look to Sisu.. I don't think it's blind hatred of Sisu why you would blame them solely, you just see the bigger picture of what the squad consist off, not just today but in the future..

Myself i look at the controlling aspect of this club as after the first season i believed and said the squad has generally fell backwards in quality and depth,,, nothing i have seen so far tells me different..The controlling aspects are and have made some terrible errors of judgement and made some really bad decisions that has had an effect on the playing side of things which is shown today. This squad is not good enough, will not get better until the controlling aspect start doing a better job off the field which will intern will create extra revenue to place on the pitch.. So does SP deserve blame ,, of course he does, does he deserve total blame ,, i say no, is he the right man for the job,, No but who gave him 4 years to try to be??? Which goes back to the controlling aspect of this club,, Sisu deserve majority of blame in this current situation...

Sisu are the most at fault and are in everything they have done since being here,, for every name that is brought up who is shit stated by some on here, Sisu have brought them on board!! That should not be forgot when looking at the state of the club nor should who is making the final decision's, if you ask me Sisu and everyone they have brought in going will be the only thing that will turn this club around...
