My money would be on Moyes, although but I'd rather him get a job a bit more challenging. I liked him at Everton and felt he was shat on from a great height at United.

Be very surprised if Moyes didn't get the Celtic job. May have missed it, but has Lennon been lined up anywhere?

Yep i'm sure League 1 is a bit more high profile and 45 - 60k at celtic park is nothing compared to 2k at sixfields or wow, 6.5 at Oldham!!!

Actually I think it is. Celtic are a massive club is a truely turd league. Take Celtics attendance out and league 1 gets high attendances overall so yeah league 1 is a bigger stage !!!

A manager taking the Celtic job is an acknowledgment that you are way past your best....you have already peaked.....you're on a downward spiral.....its a pre-retirement job.....

....Is Roy Keane interested.....even he couldn't fuck it up....

Actually I will retract some of that. Just checked online. Average Attendances in SPL for 2014 was 10,161 and in League 1 it was 7,500 odd. But Celtic are still in a majorly pants league!

Would just like to kindly disagree with your 'horrible kit'. The green and white kit is a glorious looking kit in my opinion. I played Coventry Sunday League for 26 years and our club were known throughout the divisions for being in Green & White. Looked class.

Disagree completley, they would never get voted in because Clubs are scared they would lose places in the Cash Cow of the Premier league.
The league is Shite, but Celtic are a massive club and within the right league would only get bigger.

Someone's support of Celtic is blinding him from reality. They might raise their game when they play the occasional English club in Europe, but over the course of a full season they'd just be another average Championship side.

Agreed. I believe if you put Celtic in the Prem (current squad) they would get relegated. They would find a mid table level at best in the Championship (again, current squad) which as we all know is a very tough division. But... they would gradually adjust and with the backing, and supposed financial clout they have, should be able to spend their way back to mid prem eventually.

Its nothing to do with blind support. They can only beat and perform against what is put in front of them. The fact that they perform consistently well against Europes elite year in year out (possibly not last year i must aggree) show the club they are.

No Club enters the prem and keeps the same squad, so investment is natural. To say they could not hack it in the Prem is tosh. Maybe Led by "Blind Hatred" of the club. In pure Football terms, they are far better than all bar 2/3 clubs in Championship and would be comfortable in Premiership.

I don't hate the club at all, I'm just a realist. So you think they are worse than two thirds of Championship teams but would be comfortable in the Prem??? :thinking about:

But still... you think there are 2 or 3 Championship sides better than them but they would be 'comfortable' in the Prem? Very odd.

There's a pattern emerging. Most Celtic supporters I've met on holidays are usually out of touch with reality too.

There is a lot to be said for Celtics best players in recent years who move to England and don't quite hack it i.e. Hooper, Wanyama, Ki etc were all heroes in Scotland (well in Celts fans eyes anyway) but move to England and quite frankly flatter to deceive.
There should be no argument that if these players are considered their best then they would of course struggle to be anything other than relegation strugglers in EPL.
