I'd agree that the team played badly but I really don't think that we can judge Pressley on this season.
Players demoralised by the deduction, Clarke and Adams out injured, and McSheffrey decided to not turn up for his games.
Think that Ferguson would struggle here...

Pressley took over with the club at a low ebb and also has had far more injuries crtitically to the leading scorer

The players at least were motivated to fight back and achieve a draw unlike the pitiful surrenders witnessed under thorn and Coleman when the season was over

Truth is the squad is poor just because they play for Coventry does not make them good.

He has had far more difficult circumstances than any I can remember.

Criticism at this stage is premature.

Most managers talk absolute bollocks, Robins was the only manager we had we said how it was in my time as a supporter.

Ferguson chats out of his arse, he'll do anything but blame his players, he's really bad for it. Hardly a shit manager is he.

Calling for a manager's head after seven weeks is ridiculous.

If he thinks we were excellent when we quite obviously weren't surely he's gotta be questioned!
I wish people would stop bringing Fergie into conversations about our managers!
I despair!!!
Good riddance to football and clueless idiots for a few months I say.

He was an example of most most managers talking shit. Robinson at MK did it to us, Crawley's to us, Bury's AM to us... Loads of managers do it, to either; boost players' confidence or take blame off their shoulders, PUBLICALLY, but in private, they'd 'grill 'em'. Warnock was one of he worst people for it, he's been successful.

A lot of what people report about Pressley is either taken out of context or far too literally in order to have a pop. I'm sure next season we'll do far better on the post-match conference league table, where you get 1 point per cliche.

Fans whinge and moan about having so many managers in recent years, then want the current one sacked after a couple of months. Utter madness

Exactly. Fergusons a genius at it, look what he did at Swansea earlier this season. Said RVP could have been killed by a football. Did he himself believe that? Probably not. Did everyone talk about that incident and Fergies reaction after? Yes. Did anyone talk about how crap Man Utds performance was? Slightly, but no way near as much as they would've done had Fergie not come out with such an exaggerated statement.

I don't understand why people read so much into manager interviews, its clichés 99% of the time and as long as he's saying the right thing in the dressing room I couldn't care less.

There's only one thing we can criticise him over at the moment and that is the 'brilliant,' 'outstanding,' 'magnificent,' 'amazing' comments he keeps coming out with no matter how we play, be it well or awful.

Everything else is indeed, premature.

When one of my players complains about not playing enough, I switch to 'aggressive'. Shits them right up.

Suspect it was his way of trying to instil confidence in the team-what it actually does is have the Thorn effect of having players think that lower standards are acceptable, which is at odds with his other quotes of wanting to instil a winning mentality. Ultimately though what he says is irrelevant as long as results and performances are good-which is hard to judge thus far with next season a complete unknown with the off field issues so uncertain.

We really need some stability even after SISU have gone, but the worse thing we could possibly do is let Pressley build or scrape together a squad whichever it may be through the summer and then sack him 3 games in if we are not top by then.

He either has to be given the whole of next season or be sacked now, no in between.

Pressley IS the manager to take us forward, but obviously the off field issues need to be resolved first. Any talk of firing Pressley is an absolute fecking joke, for people with shit for brains.

Anybody that demands a manager be sacked for throwing in superlatives during his post match interview needs to rechristened Mongy McMongyson.

I'm a right c-unit in those, not many managers liked me, Paolo Di Canio hates me on FM13 (he's Sheff U manager) demo (I'll get full game after exams and carry on CCFC's march to the Prem, I'm joint top at the min with Carlisle). In other versions, I only praised Ferguson or anyone who praises me, but I give it the 'aggressive' most negative comments. Who doesn't?

Ey up lad, we don't disagree on much outside the rent dispute and everything that surrounds it. We'll be 'friends' (inbetweener thing) post-SISU.
