Well we knew that. But now he's quoted as saying it.

"The Germans talk a lot about developing players as strikers and then playing them in the wide areas because when they play there they think goals, and sometimes that’s not in the make-up of natural wide players."

What he doesn't seem to get it that wingers should have provision of goals in their make up.

Here we go again the fregin German model. We are not a premier league team in any country and we don't need 3-5-2 and strikers in wings. Ffs

He was just making a comparison. Chill your beans boys. No mention of a German model or a formation, just a comment about how the development of one young player might help the team.
