He has likened Barton to Klaus Augenthaler. Way before my time, but Google says Bayern Legend!

Barton as a libero, eh. Posh word for sweeper. Which in itself is a posh word for a centre-half that doesn't mark. Or tackle.

Joking aside, it might work for Barton in a 3-5-2... maybe... just.

If Barton is being compared to a Bayern legend and can't get in the first team its worrying how he sees our actual first team players!

He's lost the plot. I couldn't give a flying fuck about how someone performed in an under 21 game. If he or anyone is that good get them performing where it matters then wank off about it in the paper.

Sneaky edit: Obviously we want players performing well at every level. But leave this sort of talk out.

hope he gets a chance on sat, if we are gonna play 352 i wouldnt mind a new dynamic at the back, willis is the only consistent cb it seems.

After how many Glenfinichs was that than. Augenthaler was a superb footballer get into most all-time great Germany teams
