Please try and be just a little more realistic, we've suffered a 10 point deduction in successive seasons and this must have a huge physiological effect on not only the club, staff & players but also the supporters.

The only thing that effecting the supporters is the constant incompetence and complete disregard of our owners, they and they alone are the reason we are not playing in front of crowds over the 15k mark this year.

I think he's worked miracles, and that is because I don't see that he's been backed. That's my point.

A good manager like SP would have had us promoted this year if he had been backed.

I think in fairness - given out finances....they couldn't do an awful lot more. Galling as it is!

Plans RFC, Joys 20 year plan care to share any of it with us???

Plus I believe people answered your statement about attendance history proving that a 15k stadium is to small, again something you commented about but chose to ignore the responses. Regarding your original post pleased with all the lone signings, and Presley needs to stay in charge for as long as he will put up with us.

Don't you think is a shame sisu haven't bothered to let the relevant local authority know of the intention to build a stadium within their district?

Portsmouth fan on talksport today..
Said as long as they don't go out of business. Given the choice again he would choice those 8 years of excitement, to be where they are now.

Yet again when people ask for any kind of proof or facts regarding any of your statements you disappear, if 15k will be big enough based on 25 years of average attendance back it up with the proof. If Joys has explained her 20yr plan share some of the genius behind it, you never no you may just convince people that attending and supporting the boys is the right way to go after all.

I'd say wait until seeing how much "backing" he gets during the summer. Moussa and Murphy, and possibly Marshall will be more important than getting new players in IMO.

One think I do admire about RFC is his optimism, so hopefully he gets to say "I told you so" for the sake of CCFC

The club have actively tried to secure Moussa and Christie but both look set to run down their deals and leave as free agents.

Yeah Marshall sounds like he could be a decent player with a full pre season.

I'm not fussed about Christie, would like to see Phillips come in for him. Moussa will be a big loss, but I really believe Marshall can replace him. Murphy is a vital signing IMO.

Meaning, there is no money. But that is a consequence of moving the club away from Coventry.

Where does it say in the telegraph that Moussa has rejected a contract? It reads that the club have actively tried to secure them. What the hell does that mean and when was this because I thought Moussa had said recently that he had not heard anything from the club. Why don't they just offer him a contract and then if he refuses then let the press know. All this cloak and dagger bollocks is bullshit or does the club actually mean they have handcuffed him to Ryton?

I'd agree that was true, and as a sixfields boycotter I accept the consequences of low attendances. Personally I would rather see the club in the blue square south that a full sixfields.

Us boycotters should accept that our actions will inadvertently affect the standard of the team (for me that is a price worth paying), just in the same way that those that do go to sixfields are inadvertently supporting the principle of playing in Northampton.

We were averaging over 20,000 when SISU took over. What an excellent job they have done.

Our 'home' gates are now 20,000 lower than when they took over. Where we are now makes the Championship days look like we were doing well.

So you would rather see ccfc as a Northampton based league 1 team as opposed to a Coventry based Conference team?

If you want to be a plastic glory supporter that's fine, but for some of us the clubs soul is more important than a few results.

Just one suggestion though. If results and league positions are the main reason you support a particular team, you might be better with one of the top end premier league teams.

Ok, don't you think it's a shame otium/ccfc/cmbe haven't informed the local authority?

Btw what they call themselves is irrelevant.

Didn't you take note of the freedom of information replies. Neither sisu or anyone representing sisu has had any meaningful conversation with any local authority about building a stadium. They certainly haven't been asked to provide impact statements etc as we were being told was requested by 2 local authorities. Unless of course the local authorities are the other side of Birmingham and I would argue that is not in the Coventry area. HELP!!!!!!!!!

Remind me who is on the board at ACL? Who arranged a beneficial loan to ACL when according to the council leader they would have been in a "right mess" if that loan wasn't sorted? Are you suggesting the council will arrange similar loans to all separate private companies - if not - why not?
