All This is all good and well , but im not concerned who he has been studying , im concerned about 10 wins in the last 42 league games whilst our supporters still see this bloke as a messiah .
i suppose its a point of how far the club has fallen
Well we will use mark robins as a pointer , had no money either but a 51% win ratioI'm pleased that he is doing this. Becoming excellent at your job is not something that happens by accident. It happens because you think, study and try to learn from others and your own experiences. I have a theory that 90% of people are pretty dumb. Pressley sounds like he's is in the 10% and thus he is almost guaranteed to flourish.
As for the results, who is to say that with any other manager it would only be 5 wins in 42 league games? We aren't really throwing money at him are we?

Myth. Robins had far greater resource.Well we will use mark robins as a pointer , had no money either but a 51% win ratio
He did well for us , thats all i care about really , and pressley isntHe had a better squad full stop cannot really compare the two.
Unfortunately since Mark Robbins left we as a club have only gone backwards when all around us have got stronger.
So when the Messiah went to Huddersfield why did he not turn around there fortunes, surly as a better manager he would have managed that easily oh and he spent plenty of money there.
Where , im guessing that andy thorn had these recources too then as at that time we were in a higher leagueMyth. Robins had far greater resource.

What are you talking about , he had a better record than pressley . We were doing pretty well . Or are you just bothered that i am showing my dislike of steven pressley 10 league wins in 42 , lets suggest thats a season ... Would we be on the verge of relegation on 44 points that we have picked up in the last 42 games .Utter bullshit were we promoted under him????
If not he is no better then the rest. Sorry but nearly there is not good enough.
You might as well be 15th as 7th you get the same nothing.

We actually did lol , good timesJust saying I remember when Gregory was at the Vile,he hailed as the best young manager in football ,yet one season later he disappeared?
So people go on about players being one season wonders the same can be said for managers.
Mind you we ha a cracking record against he Villa while he was there.
Robins took over in september left in february ...won 14 league games .
prelley took over in february until season end ...won 4 in 13
With the same team ?
Ok , he won 3 in 11 thenI think you'll find he never took over until March...
Ok , he won 3 in 11 then

Had mcgoldrick yes , got the best out of him .. And he bought clarke in on a free .And was missing Clarke for what 7-8 of those games so same team but no striker. Robins had mcgoldrick in his pomp, and then Clarke bang on form. And the 10 point deduction.

you would imagine that with the amount of freebies and loans pressley has in he could bring in a striker that could atleast give us half of what clarke mcgoldrick and wilson did .
i mean its not like hes been here 2 years to do what robins did in 2 weeks
Robins wage bill was far higher than Pressley's, he also had more money for signing on bonus's, wages, loan fees as well as taking on higher % of loanees wages, agents fees. I think you're being a bit niaive

Pressley's record is simply not good enough, not only have we not won enough matches the product on the pitch, the home games I have seen is dire, so much so my two grandsons aged 7 & 9, don't want to go anymore.
Pressley has bought in 9 strikers in his time at the club , that have a collective goal tally of 15 goals combined to date , why on earth do people keep finding an excuse for pressley , his transfer record is abysmal , barring 1 or 2 players .
his lack of plan B is obvious , his inability to change games is for all to be seen . Like i said ...andy thorn (who was terrible ) was given nothing in that final championship season , and he actually did have kids on the bench , some coventry fans are still saying we have a side full of kids ....where ? .
the pressley excuse train will run on and on , granted we may not do better with somebody else , but lets not make out he is the worse off manager in league 1 , when swindon town who look very strong have a 1 million pound less playing budget than us . The pressley love in is tiresome , even if we win todayits to be expected ...its crewe
Depends what you class a kid?
I don't think he's the messiah, his transfers have been largely poor, which you can almost forgive last season as it was clear there was no money and what money there was was being spent on baker, murphy and Clarkes high wages, but to say he hasn't been dealt a shit hand is disingenuous - administration, 2x 10 point deductions, transfer embargo's, playing in front of 2k fans 35 miles away, uncertainty of the clubs long term future, selling his best player in jan and not being replace him.
He's also doing a lot of restructuring behind the scenes for player development.
Interesting Swindon are doing so well and punching above their weight - let's see where they are in April, but if we have a midtable wage budget, we're not miles away from where we should be in the league.
We need to get used to it, because that's pretty much all we have to look forward to for the foreseeable future.

it might not be working , but atleast we were terrific and playing the coventry city way ehCan't see Pressley being fired unless there is a change of ownership, then he could be if we don't improve. IMO he needs to get away from this high pressing tactic he seems fixated on, it simply is not working results wise or entertainment wise.
fans are not always wrong thoughIf it don't improve the fans will get rid of him they always do, 7000 for the Crawley game shows that.
fans are not always wrong though
