He deserves it. Instead of being intimidated by the MR legacy, he’s taken the best bits and ran with them. He’s smart enough to do that instead of trying to fix stuff that isn’t broken to satisfy his ego (of which there isn’t any at all). Add the right coaching, let off the handbrake and here we are. You can’t dislike the guy. I was massively sceptical a year ago but happy to be totally wrong.
