Can you imagine we’ve not even announced any yet!

Some top young talent from them and we’ve got an absolute beast of a squad.

Chelsea and arsenal managers both announcing their squads are too big and youngsters need to go out

I'd only be signing loans that are gonna add genuine quality to the squad. Makes a nice change to signing ones just to pad out the squad like Tennai Watson.

I think that’s a given with the signings we make. Real competition for places.

Theres defo value in the loans, gives us quality that we cant get on a permenant that could be the difference between going up and not. Look at Amad and Nathan Tella.

Possibly an attacking midfielder to cover until OHare returns and gives Allen more time to get properly well

With Milan signed, Sakamoto will get minutes with Palmer, or covering him. Think we'll go two up front most of the time unless we struggle to get at least one more striker in this window.

I think we will still bring another CB from the Prem. Bashir from Chelsea for example.

Also attackers

Whatmough I’m not convinced about and would only be back up. Bashir would add real competition and how long will Fadz actually last?

True enough . My point wasn't saying the players mentioned were better than Bashir merely if we've signed enough permanent players in a position why waste a loan?

We can't guarantee game time to any loan player. But I'd like to see a rapid striker brought in, and some strength in depth.

Last two seasons we've been undone by a lack of depth. The big difference here will be that we have a squad to call upon rather than just a first XI.

If I was Grendel I would scour and find it . I have seen it though but with the endless rumour accounts this time of preseason it could be nonsense. Like I said though this window has proved nothing is unbelievable

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't use too many loans in the summer window.
I think DK will have seen how much value we added to the players we didn't own last season (McNally - £2m to £6m) and decide that we should be keeping this type of profit inhouse.
Use loans in January to cover any holes in the squad caused by injury or lack of form.

I'd like a CM , CAM and Striker on loan , adds depth and adds quality

I think the origin was a Football League World article suggesting him as a replacement for Hamer. Pretty tenuous.

I think a lot of this buying is with the view to develop and sell for a large profit. The ages and potential fit the model. Hopefully we can win promotion along the way.

I don’t think we’ll use our loan quota this year. Just 1 or 2 top PL loans.

I've read this lad doesn't want to go out on loan , and is pushing for a permanent move away from arsenal.

This question always makes me sad. Yes, we've got / had some great players for the respective levels over the past few seasons, but - and I'm sure people will disagree - for me, Fadz is probably MRs best signing. He's a leader and a warrior, and whilst occasionally clumsy and slow, he's probably pound for pound my favourite player since we got promoted to L1. He's not exciting, he's not a fancy dan, but he gives us real strength and direction. When he finally leaves our club I think I'll hide myself in the attic and make a paper mache statue of him to put it on my mantlepiece.

Completely agree. Robins said as much. "We might get a couple, but we want our own players". I think King wants us to have our own players as well. Ans you look at our squad now and we have a good number of assets that could be worth a lot in a season or 2.

It wouldn't surprise me if COH wasn't such a relied on player this year, even when fit. The squad looks like it is going to be a lot stronger and that competition for places will go up a level. Unless he sorts his end product out I can see him being used as an impact player to help kill off opposition teams, which would of course still be a very useful thing to have.

Julian, you're going to need a big mantlepiece. Don't you know his head is fucking massive
