There is a huge wad of talent out of contract at the end of this season. Is this a result of FFP, clubs and owners become more fiscally aware or just that they are not that good?




As of January 1, all of the players listed below were potentially heading for the exit door for FREE in June...

I didn't realise Cole was out of Contract either, he has been a great servant to the club even though he may have been in the news for the wrong reasons in recent years.

Kolo Toure an absolute world class defender, Michael Owen great when fit, Gallas another world class player, Di Santo at Wigan, Duff, Senderos and Arshavin all quality players.

I just can't understand why clubs are allowing this talent to leave for free.

Never heard of Kolo Toures or Senderous.

But the players that I mentioned are quality and have proven it at the top level. To state that they are not quality players would be a matter of opinion, not proven by the level that their careers reached.

Kolo Toure has made 103 internation appearances for a National Squad that has actually been more of a contender for World Titles than England in recent years.
