It's pretty much confirmed to be Adam Johnson. Arrest made by Durham Police of a 27 year old.

The blokes clearly a dick if he's done it, but once again named all over social media without a trial or conviction. How this us allowed is beyond me. If innocent the guy is ruined as this stigma will still follow him around for the rest of his career.

Agreed, and that also goes for those not in the media. The amount of people's lives that get ruined because their names get in the papers - Murat and Christopher Jefferies for example.
