Came across this article about 2009/10 Premiership teams. There is a spread sheet that is downloadable that gives an interesting breakdown of accounts info. Not sure if it has been posted before - apologies if so.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/datablog/2011/may/19/football-club-accounts-debt

the level of debt is positively scarey, and is the lack of profits given the turnovers

interesting is the % wages to turnover - ours for that year was 110% of turnover but still only £10.3m

decent commentary on far right of spread sheet

I know for a fact that in that particular season Sunderland players were paid £250,000 each as a bonus for finishing 10th. Says it all to me!

How well run are West Brom? My boss pays £600 for a season ticket and his just £60. He is going to get an away one for next season he reckons! Will Wolves gamble all on going straight back up or will the luxury of 4 years parachute money mean they can have a 2 year return plan?
