Doesn’t look good for Benjamin Mandy at Man City been suspended for alleged rape and sexual assault

He’s certainly not part of any solution

I wouldn't have thought so. But they've had a sucession of managerial failures.
Things were falling apart under Wenger but a few FA cup wins papered over the cracks to certain extent.
Their recruitment is baffling. Xaha is a charlatan, the new keeper is a huge downgrade on the last one.
They look to have ruined Abameyang and Lacazette. It's a complete mess.
Funny though giving their supporters sense of entitlement

Well it's all very interesting and kind of relates to the other thread re sanctions on big spending clubs.
Arsenal I don't think compete to those levels.

Edit:- yet are in danger of being out competed by much lower spenders.

Think they've been this summers biggest spenders in terms of fees paid.

Cold, hard truth is the game has moved on and Arsenal have been left behind. They're no longer one of the established top teams and haven't been for a few years. Their fans just can't seem to accept it.

Wenger would do better with this team.

Their defensive options are an absolute shitshow. I get the signing of White, think he’s ok, but they need a leader in there. As much as he’s not the best defender, I’d have looked to bring Mings in. At least he’s vocal, which is something they’re sorely lacking.

Just watched match of the day. That was some header my havertz! And salahs outside of the left peg cross was also top notch.

Also thought fornals goal for the hammers was great football. I’m not often impressed with a lot of PL stuff, but that was great to watch.

Brentford , Everton both had decent starts

Be interesting to see if Rafa can re ignite Everton.

Richarlson had a bit of a moment not getting to take a penalty.
Not a good look or love from the crowd.

A feast of football at Burnley as always, get ball kick it up to the strikers who are constantly fouling or falling over.

Noble subbed on to take the penalty against Man Utd and it’s saved in the 94th minute.

It's like goalies are getting ace at this.
Seems the new rule has focused them.
I say this without knowing if Noble just completely missed however .
A pen does not seem to be a guaranteed goal anymore ,if it ever was.

Ah ,read the post ,saved.
