Not sure if it is genuine but following the decision that Premier League refs have to state which club they support I have seen a list below is a part of it.

We had Rob Jones for ref and David Coote was VAR for the semi-final

Not suspicious at all for the refereeing but dubious on Var, possibly could have been stricter on the Onana antics on penalties though!

i have no doubt the refs are impartial but the optics are just wrong if a club supporting ref is reffing the club he follows. The semi final will be tainted in the minds of many now that is out there and it just shouldn’t happen.

I thought the ref was pretty fair and decent.

Following a decision from when-Mike Deans on that list and he’s not referred for 2 seasons.

Although doesn’t change the fact that two officials for our semi were supporters of other team…….

I'm more concerned if it is true that Kevin Friend declared two teams... You can't support two teams, god damn it!

It’s not true
You have to declare on ref submission your team and I’m pretty certain you don’t ref them

I've had people at work based in other countries asking who my Premier League team is, after I've told them I support Coventry (who they've never heard of)

That's pretty common. It's happened to me a lot. I always just tell them that we would never do that (ignoring he traitors who followed Wasps).

In a lot of countries lower level football isn't supported, or even when it is they also support a big team. Disgusting, I know.

I may have told this story before but I had dealings with Bastian Schweinsteiger and asked him who he would like to play for in England? He asked me my team and I said Coventry City, he said ”the Sky Blues”
6 months later he missed the penalty in the Champions league final....

He actually was a Man Utd fan

Probably got to know us a bit better after that semi-final though...

This should be no surprise to anyone.

Remember the Forest outrage on the web, in the papers, on Twitter and everywhere else when they found that a Luton supporting Ref was running VAR in their game against Everton and ruled out 3 goals and/or penalties for Everton ?

Well it's all bollocks. So I hope it does surprise people cause it's made up.

I know Jarred Gillett and he definitely doesn't support Manchester City.
