I actually believe we may go and give Crewe a hiding. Both sets of players are sick of the sight of each other but there are 3 points here that can make a huge difference to where we go from here.

Maybe the old five could rear it's head...

I think it will be a 1-1 draw. We'll play in a more conservatively than we did in the 2 cup games.

2 or 3-1. League is more important, so the players will give it some!

If Clarke has his shooting boots on we will win and he will top the leading scorers table for Div 3.

I am genuine in my thoughts that we are due to give someone a real thumping die to the amount of chances we get each game (even when playing poor).
Lets hope its today, going to put a cheeky one on another 5-1 and might double it up with a Clarke hatrick.

3-1 to us, think we need to give them a good thrashing!

I think it will be a tight game, maybe a 0-0

Crewe will just try to catch us on the counter attack again, i'd have thought.
And this time we won't push the game as much as we did in the first leg.

I predict there won't be an early rush for the exits.

Disagree, Pax.

I think it is may well turn out to be a very tight game and a bit dour to boot.

Do think we will win but think it might well be close.

2-1 to the City.

Do hope you are right though. That would really warm up on a cold day.

Trouble is, last home game the middle of the pitch was like a quagmire. Not so sure we will be able to play through the midfield.

If we play it on the deck it will probably need to be played down the flanks.

If we see the Clarke who played on Wednesday night ,we're all in for a treat ,he was unplayable for their defence and was dare I say it "Marlonesque",hope I hav'nt gone overboard but that was his best allround performance for us and a good sign that Carsley is a motivator.Just needs to work his magic on his mate Mcsheffery now.

Low scoring game I think today. Think knowing each others game will nullify both. My guess would be 1-0 cov
