Does anyone know when the planned pre season tour to Holland is likely to be approved by FIFA? and how many of you are planning on going

I'm hoping to get time off to go. Found somewhere ill probably stay but weighing up options of how to get there.

Flights looking pricey, don't fancy driving that distance, megabus seems reasonable (about £50 return) but do I really fancy 13 1/2 hours on a coach :thinking about:

have you looked at Harwich to the hook of Holland on the overnight service?well recommended and the train to the centre of the dam is less than an hour from the hook

Why? You're probably going to have to keep doing it for home games this season.

I know the club confirmed plans but wasn't sure if everything is definite, I'm thinking of the flight to Amsterdam and train to Arnhem from there; flights aren't too pricey for the return, works out cheaper than a load of trains and a lot quicker. Haven't looked into places to stay yet, where have you found?

I was looking at staying around Amersfoort which looks to be in between Amsterdam and Arnhem. Until fixtures announced, not definite the game will take place in Arnhem, so will have to travel when over there, and Amersfoort looks to be on one of the main train lines (might be wrong though).

Will have a look at the overnight ones.

Im going Dover-Calais, then through to Holland. Found a few B+Bs for 26euro per night in Arnhem.

First game on the Tues is Terwolde about 30mins away, gonna wait to book hotel until we find out the other fixtures.

How do you know about fixtures yet? and have you got any idea of prices for trains to different games. We'll keep everything to do with the tour on this thread anyway so everyone knows what's going on.

Ive booked in a hotel in Nijerrk from 14-21, £324 for a twin room, ferrys also booked £75 return.

So, is anyone going Holland? I've still not booked anything. Dithering on the costs of flights! And CBA with the long journey by road........

But really want to go.

Just get it booked mate, you'll be able to find a cheapish return to Amsterdam if you fly from London!

Do it. Do it on your own if you have to. I went to Sweden a couple of years ago when we had Svennis - had a cracking 3 days for about 400 quid.

Flight I've found is £188 with a case! Not sure ill get a weeks worth of suff into a hand luggage case! Refuse to pay to pick my seat though! almost certain on the hotel too. It's in Zwolle which is roughly an hour and a half away from the furthest fixture, but has train links to!

Feck it! I've booked up. Ill probably end up nowhere near where the fixtures are will be and up getting lost countless times. But still, ill get a week away from Cov and more importantly work!

Ill also try to keep up reporting from last pre season to keep you Allen the loop on what's going on
