Could see that. Feels like the only viable option would be a late 30’s/40 year old keeper as a short stop gap who brings experience.

Fabianski, Begovic etc

The October target for him still seems doable

Wonder if we’ll hold out on a keeper until we’ve seen how close he is. Might well decide we can handle a couple of months with Wilson.

Maybe with an agreement that they then progress into a GK coaching role.

Grimes arriving with that Boots bag and in full training gear made me laugh.

Like some sort of Dad/Coach turning up to training.

the boots bag was full of toiletries, I think they take turns stocking the training ground? Bit of a weird thing

No sign of Brau there, is he linking up today or have a few days off due to Spanish league finishing later? Not seen anything on it

No Lats or Wright either which suggests a few have extended leave, he’s probably one of them as he had a late finish.

Yeah I caught that too. Didn't look as happy as the rest. Think that Luton match was the end for him.

Just emailed Bristol Rovers about buying tickets for the game. They responded within minutes advising City already have the tickets to sell.....

I was impressed that he turned up in that builder's van, with the ladders still on the top. Hard working bloke is Bidders...

Harsh... 90% of Premiership strikers would not have been able to take that chance in the way that he did against Luton.
