Planning to get started early doors Saturday. Me and a few lads will be meeting up 9am. Question is where to go? Thinking breakfast/beer somewhere with city fans. Get the atmosphere going nice and early

Convinced my daughter to go again. Her first ever game was the Checkatrade Final, her second the Playoff Final, then her first season ticket we won the first seven at home before she stopped wanting to go. So I’m hoping her return is a good omen.

Travelling down 7 o’clock, breakfast at Tracy’s in Nuneaton 10 o’clock,11 o’clock Dhillons 2.15 get to the ground for a quick before KO.
5 o’clock bouncing off anyone I can’t see celebrating 3 points . Casino to lose £££ no doubt after that Attleboro for more and a curry … #THATSHOWIWILLBEROLLING

Well it's my birthday Saturday so I'll be waking up at a spa of which the location it apparently a secret - present from the Mrs. Spa weekend. Yes I'm aware it's a present for herself really.

I'll probably go and have a fry up and think about the game and have a scroll here and twitter.

Then the nerves will kick in and I won't be able to relax and the massage won't help none.

Then I'll find a little corner at the swimming pool and watch the game some how.

All the while feeling sad I'm not actually there.

Flying from Geneva to Brum at 16.55 tomorrow. Big group of us going for a couple of 50ths on Saturday. Meet for a late breakfast, Dhillon's at 1 (if we can still get in), casino after and Sky Blue Tavern for a curry. Really hope fans go to the Tavern if we win - was absolutely brilliant after the Fulham game last season albeit following an early kick-off. Can't wait.

This feels like when I couldn’t make it back for the final in ‘87.
I had planned to be in UK and go to the game but had to change plans last minute. I will be up at 6:00 for an hour of pre game banter. Game is 7:00 am for me. Have to leave at 9:15 for the airport. Arrive Sunday morning. Unfortunately can’t make Middlesboro. Going to try the impossible task of not knowing the score until I arrive home early hours of May 13th. Watch Middlesboro game (hopefully x2)
Have a pint for me after the game. I’ll be there in spirit.

Driving up from Salisbury with my skyblue mad daughter. 13 years old, only connection to Coventry is me. She is absolutely obsessed with City, to the point where she has been leaving notes in the kitchen this week, telling me the scores of our playoff rivals, because I have to be up at 2am for work haha.

Knowing my luck, leave Herne Bay at 8am, break down on the M1, can't fix the car, towed back home while the game is on, and miss one of the biggest games in years. Almost forgot ,and not being able to celebrate us smashing the Brummies.
Enjoy the game folks

Get there early lads, it’s gonna be bouncing all round the ground in side and out something we haven’t seen for years. Health issue, not too serious means I’ve given my ST up, live in the area so might mosey on up for a gander to get into the spirit.
Been to all the big home games since 1962, they are special.

You people are animals!

I'm going to spend the morning prepping for the game by relaxing. This involves tending to my garden whilst drinking a large bottle of Co-op own brand Whisky.
Much more civilised.

My son's turn to drive so leave Fleet, Hampshire 0930, Kilcline booth booked at the Tavern for 12, Tandoori mixed grill and 3 or 4 pints before heading over to the ground for 2. After the game stop at the BP garage just before the M40 for some celebratory (Hopefully) Percy Pigs for the journey home. Home around 1930 and out too the pub.

Apparently Longford Engine has closed?

That and Litten Tree were the big two. There's literally no pubs for away anymore

When did the engine close? I noticed it started to be closed in the week but didn't know it was all the time.

Edit: new management in may. Looks like same owners as park gate...
