A per link, Andy Williams of Yeovil Town - notwithstanding embargo, of course!!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17900041

Quite a big lad at 6' 2", still only 25 and out of contract. Scored 22 in 71 with Yeovil. With his physique, he looks a decent foil for Cody

When I saw the title potential target, I was expecting a picture of Joy Seppala with a bullseyse painted on her forehead.

Wouldn't be a bad signing. Hard to tell who can make the step up. Who would have thought Holt & Lambert would become so good.

We certainly need a player of height and strength. Question is is the goal scoring this season a fluke or not. Almost one every other game this season.

Our club's nominated marksman is ROD. She's safe...

What, do you actually know what she looks like??

Seriously, we are talking about a player who scored one in 3 for Yeovil - this is how far we have fallen! Having said that, he is called Andy Williams so we can have some nice singalongs at Xmas!

We could offer him a Life Presidency. Why should he be left out?

How about Stuart Beavon from Wycombe. Lot of goals in a relegated team.

From Wiki: He scored his 18th, 19th & 20th of the season in a 4-1 win over Bury, taking him to 20 goals for the season. His goal scoring has led to t-shirts branded "I've Got Beaver Fever"

Could be popular....

There are strikers worth a gamble in non league for fairly low wages. It is a gamble but has worked with people like Beckford. Particularly at this level.

Damian Reeves at Altrincham. 44 goals this season. Who knows if he could cut it in league 1.

Yeah at least with holt and lambert they had scored 15-20 goals per season on a consistent basis before Norwich and southampton bought them. That Yeovil player has scored 17 of his 22 this season.

I know it's virtually Sunday league and not saying we should sign him but this guy scored 43 goals by January. That is ridiculous. Be interesting to see how many he finished on.

Well, it's stated he had a 'quiet afternoon' in the recent 5-0 win over Staines Lammas; but it's reported he had already bagged 57 for the season by then!

Strangely enough, even though Williams is banging them in this season, prior to that he scored just 10 goals in 102 appearances at Bristol Rovers. That is shocking!

Whether they didn't play to his strengths or he has suddenly come good who knows. But how do you got from 10 in 102 to 17 in 38?

Northampton forward would be Akinfenwa. Rumours about him earlier in the year.

Surprisingly, this was the same with Lambert. He was a late bloomer. Strange how it happens Luke that sometimes. Not that I'm saying Williams will end up like Lambert!

What's this about this Collins then? Where's this rumour come from?

And which Northampton player is that?

Answered for me. Got to admit, wouldn't like that too much. Reminds of a Shit Ade Akinbiyi - who was also Shit anyway!

Weren't we after that Michael Jacobs from there as well?
