Happy with our business because we’ve signed who we’ve needed to sign - loans were ideal in the case of Barrett and JMD. However, it’s a shame we missed out on a Davies, he would’ve been a coup. We need to sign the ‘right’ striker if we sign one, and not one just for the sake of it. It’s a tricky window and prices are often inflated.

I'm sure Robins is working on something. Think it'd be better to get no-one than the wrong player though.

Totally agree I'm sure he was aware of his availability and possibly looked into him, it's quite possible we were in for him...

Tho he don't fit the experienced bracket he's trying to upgrade on Biamou and hopefully a bit more luck in front of goal he was still available at the right price... free and wage likely low.

I've looked into his stats and goals per minutes and actual games started as opposed to the appearance figures that are branded about and all too easily dismissed and they were pretty good for a young man prior to this bad move to Scotland

Still onwards to the next possible man.

Now Kelly and Vincenti are back I'm quite happy with the squad we have. Not concerned at all. my only concern is Max pushes on.

Winning yesterday for what its worth must surely give us a headstart on our League 1 or 2 rivals in picking up a player or two, with a big potential 5th Round Glamour tie?
Providing that person isn't cup tied.

Nazon/Reid/Davies could have been part of this....or any of our potential targets.

Still stupidly hoping for George Thomas to be announced in next few days. He isn't FA cup tied?
