Some will call it delusion. We could see over the next month some of the most positive steps the club has taken in years. Personally my thoughts and hopes are as follows. Over the next month I think we will be promoted ppg. Next Tuesday maybe. New kits to be announced and be absolutely amazing. I really hope we have a Ricoh return, do I want to be there long term? No, not as tenants anyway and I realise we won't be able to attend for a while. Possibility of reduced capacity though and we've proven we can social distance in there. Sign players of good quality, Gustavo if true seems to signal some intent. Then hopefully villa get relegated and we open the new championship season v them. Bring it on.

Nah last game of the season, fans allowed back just so we can win the league at villa park and return to the prem

just the fact that just as we are about to top a league for the first time in decades a global pandemic stops us being able to witness it tells me to be cautious about getting over excited.
Having said that, the current circumstances could be a bit of a leveller in the Championship next season in terms of budgets.

I'll take any positivity thats going, count me in

The only downside is I'd love us to have the same kit next year, its pretty much my favourite of all time (alongside the original classic 87-89 version). At minimum I reckon we've got to keep the 3rd kit.

You've got to be more positive when you're top of the league! Next season could be a big opportunity for us to secure our place in the championship with some teams hit harder than us in financial terms.
If we can secure our own home, either by Wasps going bust and us snaffling up the Ricoh or miraculously SISU building us one....that would top it off for me.

Full circle in 20 years, as it was Villa that relegated us.

There is part of me that thinks this could be the most perfect storm for us ever imaginable. The fact other Championship clubs finances will be hugely impacted, could our budget actually increase?... I'm not sure about this, but could be plausible if Premier League money rolls downhill... And not to mention Wasps finances must surely be hit beyond belief with a lack of all Ricoh activity... Then there is the bond repayment looming increasing larger in 2022.

All I need is for promotion to be confirmed so I can stop wearing the home shirt under my top, I’m getting self conscious that I smell real bad at this stage

About time we had some luck. I know we have had relative success but I don't class that as luck.
