Feeling pretty bloody good about the club's future.

So many reasons to be positive:

• Mark Robins fully committed and signed up longterm

• Competitive core squad, built on a comparative shoestring

• Most key players tied down.

• Owners more engaged than ever, evidently trying to heal the relationship with fans. They have invested despite what some say. We can't afford to spend out of our means and implode again.

• The CBS has never had a better atmosphere

• All the cards are in our favour regarding our most saleable assets. If any club wants Gus, Vik or Callum they will have to pay serious money.

Remember SISU are a money making venture and if we sell players they will invest again to repeat the process. It has happened year on year on a smaller scale. McNulty > Chaplin > Godden.

i assume it’s 12 months just on improved terms

He has typically signed on a rolling contract from memory, so I think you would be right.

It doesn't say, don't think it ever has when he signed an extension in the past. Not sure how long he even had

It's more the language surrounding him being committed, a project, progress etc. I do feel like he knows we are a good fit for him. Most other clubs wouldn't give him as much free reign as our owners do. I don't think we need to worry unless a dream job comes up. It was 2019 he fucked Sunderland off and signed. Would think they added at least a year and gave him a wage bump. All good in my book

Lots to be positive about. We’ve developed some real quality in the squad and a nice brand of football. Hopefully the worst thing that can happen is we don’t sell anyone and can’t bring anyone in, cos I’d back us to replace and add elsewhere with any money received. And us going again with a similar squad including the big three sounds alright actually.

Always try to be positive in my own life and with city as well,the gaffer extended positive signs from the board room season tickets increase in price but plenty of takers up on last year.
Just keep the three amigos add more quality and playoffs will be nearer and we will keep getting more points this time next season,happy days.

That tweet from five years ago about how we'd sold 500 season tickets for the L2 campaign Shows How Far We've ~~Fallen~~ Come in such a short space of time. At some point the constant progress will plateau or we might drop a little but it feels like we're on the right path, which is something I really can't remember feeling for a long, long time.

Not going to disagree on most of that except the They have invested despite what some say.

During MR's 2nd tenure on the information we know and can check at Companies House to 31/05/2021 the net effect is that they have taken out £115,828 more than they have put in

I gave an estimate from memory on another thread of minus £54k i have since gone back and checked against the published documents. Apologies although the point made was correct

We do however appear to be moving in the right direction and yes there is a lot of positives to CCFC right now, i hope it continues.

I'm just glad it's coincided nicely with my improved financial stability. Was able to commit to a Championship membership during the season we couldn't go, turn it into my first season ticket since 2009 (along with 10 away days), and now renewed it for the next stage of the journey

Moving back to the CBS was more of a big thing than I expected. It was great playing in Coventry again of course, but I didn't expect the big crowds and such a raucous atmosphere (the best it has ever been in that arena). A promotion push next season and we could be seeing 26-27K for the home games. Loved the football we played this season, and we were rarely outclassed by any team, which gives me hope that with a few tweaks this team could really push on next season. After seeing so many Cov teams over the years, that didn't seem to care at times, it's great that Robins has built a squad that 1) Plays for him and 2) Gives 100%. The comebacks against Bournemouth away, and Bristol City at home were thrilling.

I think there is a lot of reason to be positive at the moment. I guess because we are at the end of the season and there is some uncertainty over the summer in regards to what the squad is going to look like come the end of it, there might be some understandable apprehension from some fans.

We've got some great players. Even if we lose one or two I hope we can strengthen and be even better next year. Let's see!
