Why would Appleton moan anymore? He's now at Blackpool.

Wonder how much Harry made out of his time there ?
Would it be too much for the likes of him to make a donation to the Supporters trust.

Just imagine if say 5-10% of every player's signing on fee who was transferred in the Premier League was ring fenced for clubs who had fallen on hard times (strict guidelines tho so that pure stupidity and miss management wouldn't be bailed out) it would be a huge pot of money within one season. Then when a club is taken over and shoots of growth are sprouting the games top brass could help out a little with certain things.
I know this will probably get shot down as stupid, and in some ways i think it is a unrealistic idea but there is so much money sloshing around in the prem that its almost sick to see clubs struggling to pay players whilst premiership players get a kings ransom to sit on there arses and warm the bench rather than get out and play lower down the pyramid.

agnets take approx 10% of a players wages, so in the case of Ben Haim, his agent has been earning 3.8k each WEEK from pompy, never mind his other clients..

CRAZY

How long until they can't fulfill their games? I know its a mad idea but I bet out of their thousands of fans there would be some half decent players who would have a run out for free? I know I would if City ever needed players

They could always do something really radical and play some of the kids, they've got 3 of them out on loan at the moment!

Haing seen Covstu's post about Pompey possibly being kicked out of the league if they don't exit administration by the end of the season, I was searching for any news articles on that and came across this Sun story from a couple of weeks back:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...-calendar-has-just-three-current-players.html

I think this is the issue, when does this end!? We had a deadline and after that we were knackered but this deadline keeps going and going!! I don't want to see any club go under but it just seems to be different rules for different clubs.

It's the same rule for every club. Who has been treated differently?

Shame -- the comedian is from Hampshire so I thought it may have been him. Always though Thorn sounded like Orville with a cold.
