Felt like we were slightly wasteful tonight and should have at least scored another, but I’ll take the 3 points and let’s not talk about the clean sheet…

If we win on Saturday it will equal the club record for consecutive wins, so that is something to aim for now!

Record's 7 isn't it?

Bitter sweet, happy we have won and remain top of the table regardless what happens tomorrow with Boro but disappointed we conceded such a late goal and haven’t kept our clean sheet run.

I should be ecstatic that we have won but conceding such a late goal is annoying. Am I asking for too much?

Another away win and without Rudoni and Wright.

Momentum is such a powerful thing!

It was a lot more nervy than it needed to be, really.

We've got too used to smashing everyone

I've clearly been spoilt, but my glass half empty view is that we didn't get enough control in that game for my liking, I thought they were decent at retaining the ball, and we were a tad wasteful at times. A wins a win though, a place we struggle at, Asante on fire, Simms looking decent for 80 mins. Pusb.

That looked harder work than it was overall, our left side looked very vulnerable after Da Silva went off

Simms should have scored a 3rd and we had so many opportunities to pad the win, but a win is a win. That's all I care about.

That's not his man, he's tried to cut out a long ball and missed it. The first goal conceded in 6 games and yet you're still trying to impose your clueless view about his capability on everybody.

That second assist in particular was top quality play, bullied the defender, turned and didn’t even hesitate to put it on a plate for BTA, who isn’t missing that in this kind of form. Top goal, and came at the perfect time.

Excellent win at a difficult place to go. I suspect we won’t play that formation against better sides. But we won and rested Wright and Sakamoto. Grimes and BTA superb.

Some bizarre match direction tonight. They keep cutting away while the ball is in play. Missed a long throw earlier showing a replay of BTA’s shot that hit the bar.

Great win but not sure about the formation. Led to a frantic game. Thomas-Asante was brilliant; Simms a great no. 9 performance; and what a cameo from Sakamoto!

It meant we largely bypassed the midfield, i didnt enjoy the formation really but it's got us an away win at Pompey midweek without Wright or Rudoni.
I reckon we're just really good and Lampard could create a formation from pebble dashing his toilet and it would still work.
