Their first goal. Collins dives in installments.

Maybe so. But that's not his fault. The defence is a unit. The four in front of him are woeful, which certainly doesn't help matters.

Been back ten minutes so not seen any highlights. First goal was opposite end so couldn't see what happened. Second goal was an obvious error from Da Silva. Marking for the third was atrocious and I actually felt for the fourth as Collins tried his best to keep it out.

A bit out of order to boo Collins during the game in my opinion. There were loads around me who were booing and shouting abuse at him. We would never do that in the past. Some of our fans are just cunts. FL should have acknowledged fans after but I'm not going to cry about it like the bloke next to me was nearly doing.

Nothing less than an emphatic win against the League's worst team will be acceptable.

we’ve played the league’s worst two teams, and sneaked a lucky win against one and an emphatic loss against the other…

the standard of teams we’ve played this season generally has been poor, and yet we’ve managed to be even poorer in the main and haven’t had a consistent 90 minutes I don’t think, having said that we could’ve been up to 11th today with a win

Jan / Feb has to be a turning point

First and third goals are entirely on Collins, he was already statistically the league's worst keeper by some margin prior to today and will look even worse after this.

The performance level at 3/4-1 was inexcusable, but it's not hard to see why when you have one or two players that completely throw the game away.

O'Hare didn't want to stay. He had the chance to and he decided not to. He wanted to go to Burnley in the summer of 2022 and would've done if he hadn't got injured.

Off the pitch King has took us forward

Great, I’ll get a season ticket to off the pitch then cos on it it’s been non stop decline.

Fuck me. Just watched the goals, only the second goal am I not gonna judge Collins for. The view I had for their first I gave him the benefit of the doubt, just thought it was well struck. It’s a half decent finish, granted, but it’s gone straight through him. Fuck me. Standard flapping at corners for the third, the less said about the fourth the better. The defence is not exempt from criticism though.

It’s not a decline until it’s lasted continuously for 30 years or more.

That's the most spineless performance I can remember from a Coventry City team.

Can take getting beat, even by poor sides, but losing like that is unacceptable.

One team wanted to win, the other, when it came down to it, didn't give a fuck.

Mentioned it in the match. But don’t think I’ve ever seen a manager throw in the towel like Lampard did today by taking off all our decent players for a rest. Not sure what message that sends to those left on or when we go a couple down in the future.

Tbf Robins used to pick one game a season where he’d throw in the towel before kick off and start a mental line-up. Usually away at Norwich.

After 55 years watching Cov, watching this current pathetic spineless ‘pile of shit’, team is at least coming to an end .
I’ve had such great teams to watch , the 70’s 80’s & 90’s, back then we had skilful players but we also outfought teams, every team hated playing us, especially coming to Highfield Road, but this current team has to be one of the most cowardly, talentless teams we’ve had. So many players who simply do not give a shit, most of them are just very unlikeable .

Sorry to hear that Reverend Sky Blue, that puts everything into perspective, life is too short to get stressed out about a football team.

Dasilva and Collins are consistent.

Have to say, Collin’s looked rattled by some Sky Blues fans verbal abuse.

Lampard should not have played either of them

Lang normally plays the other side of the pitch. 6’3 VS 5’6. Only 1 winner.

Eccles Simms and BTA should be/are good championship players.

Game was done anyway, we threw in the towel at 3-1.

Yeah, a couple of blokes arguing and nearly coming to blows in front of us. A day to forget.

At least the journey down and back was easy enough with no hold ups.

Same near me. Some bloke pulled a youth up for abusing Collins. It was just nothing more than a verbal exchange. Then a guy came over and gave the gobshite some verbal abuse about his’ disgraceful’ support of the team/Collins. It resolved through fans around calming them down.

Which is why he sacked Robins.

People seem to want to blame King for the decline and blame him for taking steps to fix it.

Big first Lampard red flag was him watching the last 30 minutes of us getting pressed to death/being engaged in a physical battle as opposed to a football game and then making zero tactical/selection adjustments at HT. Was so obvious that bypassing midfield from restarts was the best option, utilising the pace of EMC/Norman in behind. Could've easily removed Torp/Rudoni/Sakamoto for Eccles/BTA/Simms to aide this with physicality/pace. Instead just said go back out lads and do the same. Fair play to Mousinho, realised how weak and slow we are in build up and ran all over us.

Portsmouth manager did what every other manager has done when theyve seen Dasilva on the team sheet and thats target him with balls over the top of him. Hes a liability defensively

Obvious change would have been to just hook Torp for BTA and go two up front, they played such a high line and it wasn't even a solid line

Going by how highly he speaks of 'the deck' and its fitness, plus the fact they were involved in the recruitment process for the coaches and for the new Head Coach, I'd say he values Dean Austin and Dr. Roberts highly. Which is slightly worrying as I'm not convinced by either. Got me wondering if he likes them because they stroke his ego and tell him what he wants to hear.
