Those weak links defensively are all the goalkeepers all the fullbacks and all bar maybe one CB. MvE is great going forwards but this season at least he’s a liability at the back.

Thomas fmnotndirevtly to blame for either goal but has been poor generally. Silly rash fouls, giving the ball away in very dangerous areas. He gets a pass cos he’s slightly better than the others defensively but he’s not good enough other than as a young developing player in a better defence.
