He gave it Connor Thomas for the second half v Nuneaton. Perhaps he thinks giving Fleck the arm band will make him take some responsibility and stop playing within himself?

C. Thomas and Haynes are the only injuries, so presumably Martin, Stokes and Phillips are not considered good enough? I'm not surprised about Martin, but the other two?
