I'm not so sure now in all honesty. We really do have an average run down bare bones team don't we?

P.s for what it's worth I really think nouble is our best player or certainly one of the better players and to miss out on this team is another nail in SP coffin possibly.

In the case of who our best attacker is, I would say we do. But that said, his attitude does seem all wrong and maybe the reason was he's the fall guy

That said he hasn't scored against league one opposition (or even looked like scoring) since the peterborough game, which was 6 games ago now. For me he flatters to deceive and the idea of him far outweighs his actual contribution. Also he and madine just don't look like a partnership. Not saying mcqoid should be above him, I just don't think he's all that.

here you go.....

"Expect 3 points from this, they seem dire at the minute and were doing pretty well at the minute, I'm going for a comfortable win with a clean sheet. 3-0 vale, nguessen and a Marshall brace. "

He still has to be a better bet than mcquiod surely.

This is one we should win.....but I doubt we will.

I fear we are going to be in the relegation zone this afternoon.

We've only played 4 league games since the Peterborough match, he scored in the JPT fixture against Plymouth, failed to score against Bristol and Worcester as well not to mention the fact that barely and of the team look like scoring in that time.

I'm not surprised he's gone off the boil, Pressleys man management of him has been dreadful.

He can turn a game as he did against Peterborough. I think a manager like Robbins would get more out if him.

McQuiod is a nothing player really.

So we know he can do it then, it's no surprise his game has gone off after the Worcester match.

4 goals in 12 still makes him probably our best striker in game to goals.

16 - Great bit of momentum from City, O'Brien's cross is narrowly missed by Madine then Fleck's effort deflects wide. Still 0-0.

It equates to 15 goals in a season which given pressleys desire to starve forwards of service isn't bad.

He's games gone off the boil since the peterborough game that's his last goal against league one opposition. He's a poor mans adebola.

Mcqoid has the same ratio when he's played up front (5 in 15)

If we're looking to Madine to be the Saviour I think we're all going to be equally disappointed Stu .

Haven't see anything to suggest he has more In the Bag than Say Kevin Kyle .

In fact I'd prefer Kevin Kyle currently .

I hope I have to now eat those words .

Funny that both he and nouble have identical goal scoring records when played up front.

I agree Wingy. I remember the debate we had when he first signed and otis quite rightly argued that madine and nouble just wouldn't work together. I argued against it, but believe he is right.

None of the strikers on our books are fit to lace wilson, clarke or DMC boots.
