Watching it again Reid's goal is even better and their header is even easier.

It's what you tell a 9 year old goalkeeper.

im sure a 9 yr has better decision making then him, its too unnerving i dunno why robins and slade played him so much, weve seen what rcc can do when he gets his confidence going his alot better compared to burge.

That Port Vale goal is so soft. Burge is now making costly mistakes just about every single game.

See old flapper lives up to his name and yet again gifts the opposition a goal...positional sense of an idiot

Unbelievable goal from Reid, where's this skill been hiding?! Still can't decide if the 2nd was an own goal or a weird elastic leg back heel from Kwarme...

With Burge and his mistakes, since he keeps repeating them, and that RCC makes similar gaffs, they're being coached to be flappers by a clipboard wielding egotist. It's elementary, Lee, judge the flight of the ball, then if your defenders don't call for it, try staying back and shouting: "OUUUUUT!"

Maybe I should give him a few pointers by email, but then i may get whacked by the jealous clipboard wielding egotist.

Burge 100% at fault for me for their goal!
All night he stayed on his line, the one time he should of stayed on his line he gets lobbed!

I agree, Burge did not need to be so far away from his goal, that is a shambles.

We play at Wembley in 3 weeks, amazing how players suddenly look interested.

Burge was at fault, but I think it was Bambi on ice (K Thomas) who offered no challenge at all to the guy who headed it in, so blame shared.

Mind you, if it was Bambi, he offered no challenge to any headers really, defence or attack.

Reid's goal is good but after hearing it described yesterday I was expecting a world rather than a decent dig from some distance that looped over the keeper in the centre of the goal.

The quick-thinking and ability of Thomas to score the second was very impressive however and has been underplayed ij the same way that Reid's has been overplayed in my view.

Yeah see you at Wembley in 3 weeks, way after the cup final has been and gone, you plan on celebrating for that long?

Interesting to note perhaps that Reid has said after the game that all his family are going to be at Wembley.

Guessing last night's performance might have been because he wants to get picked.

Hmm.........

Very hard to pull off what Reid did yesterday, besides, it was the pace and dip that had the keeper fooled not the placement of the shot per se.

You can hear how flush he hit it from the audio on the highlights.

He has played like that before otis, but he can only do it for 45 minutes or so. He hasn't really had much of a chance to show it for awhile has he?

He is a typical shines for a match (or half), disappears for a match (or half) type of player. Still, when he shines like he did first half last night, he's worth a place.

The whole team picked up last night, great goal from Reid, will be pretty pissed if we dont see that kind of effort from now till the end of the season, not just for Wembley.

Sure - it's a very good goal but if it goes in against us there's scores of messages on SBT about how shite our goalkeeper is

I think many goalies would struggle to have even got a hand on Reid's shot, to be honest.

Burge would have been on the other side of his goal, his back to play and wondering why his boots weren't laced if a shot like Reid's came at our goal.
