Got family in Stoke On Trent, only up the road from the Vale ground. Bit disappointing!

Why the surprise that it's behind closed doors? If they were left open, any old Tom, Dick or Harry could walk in for free!

Just dress shabbily, drone on incoherently and have a pervy look on your face. You should be fine.

It is all the idea of Port Vale. No reporters are allowed either.

They don't want to risk the shame of losing to us and their supporters finding out.

Yeah no conspiracy here guys.

Ground simply doesn't have safety certificate, so no supporters allowed.

Maybe all City's games will be behind closed doors, cos it looks like our whole team is under maintenance.

Same here. I'm a bit further away but with work commitments this was the only one I could make.

Sorry about your situation. sometimes just looking at other clubs struggle to survive humbles me even though we are in the same boat.

We have a bit of a N Korea attitude with the media in this country @ the moment ,I mean Man only managed to put a vehicle on Mars yesterday .Now i was out of the house for around 8 hrs, but having trawled all the news coverage since then not one mention or Image.

It says in the Telegraph that the reason it's a closed event is because Port Vale haven't got their safety certificates yet so can't allow any fans into their ground.

And the telegraph also confirms its a 2pm kickoff.

Barton will play about 30 to 45 minutes of the match. They intend to take a full squad with some more trialists so keep your ears out for names we're not sure of lol
