I emailed the club asking if they were going to auction the poppy shirts off for charity as I would love one.

I got an email back saying they were going to take the poppy transfers off and carry on using the same shirts.

Got to say I'm disappointed the club aren't auctioning them for military charities when the feeling around the City is so high about the 80th anniversary of the bombing.

Why go to the effort of tsking the poppy off. Just leave them on its not like something that should be remembered and honoured one day a year

Isn’t it an EFL rule exemption to allow them to have them on at all?

Just stop remembrance Sunday imo. Saves all this back and forth and some not wishing to remember it. Much easier world to live in.

It was years ago anyway.

But how would you know it's Xmas? Why would he bother to take the decorations down for the rest of the year?

Perhaps someone would be classed as a twat if they were unable to seperate a blatant sarcastic statememt from reality.
