Simms and Wright could get 30 goals between them. Makes the investing the Vic money on that pair very good business indeed.

You can get 20/1 on Haji being top GS on the championship now.

Not sure what you mean by leave squad depth to chance?
Are you referring to not signing Bamford?

Just as a whole, it’s only took a couple of injuries and we look v weak off the bench.

Thankfully, there’s been v few instances where we’ve looked out of ideas, yesterday we had 5 defenders on the bench.

Compare that to Ipswich who brought on McAteer, Akpom, Azon from the bench and have Szmodics to come back into their squad. There’s certainly more depth there.

If we get a a winger or two in, that brings up the depth of the squad up leaps and bounds.

I've long banged on about how thin our squad is and we always seem to leave ourselves extremely vulnerable in at least one position.

But if we weren't lining up a forward already, it's going to be difficult to get one lined up based on injuries that have only happened in the last couple of weeks.

I also think it's a bit harsh to compare our squad to a parachute team.
If we go up and come back down, I would expect t us yo have a lot more depth given the increased resource.

Between them?

Given how may goals we've got already for the two of them to only average 15 each would be poor from here IMO. Both got 19 each (in all comps) a couple of seasons ago.

I think we will have 6 players all on 20 goals plus

Wright
BTA
Simms
Torp
Mason-Clark
Rudoni.

Then lagging behind with only 10 goals, it will be Eccles, Saka, Thomas

That's 150 goals accounted for. No idea who's going to get the other 27.

Funny because Simms was probably about 50-1 top scorer 3 weeks ago, he's now about 3rd fav

Can’t believe he’s scored 34 or so goals for the club

If Carlsberg did injuries they wouldn't do minor ones.

I'm betting on Ellis because he is much less injury prone than Brandon & Haji and isn't involved in International squads.

I have put Simms, but expect it to be Wright( if the lazy git gets his finger out)because we must get some penalties soon.
And before you all start screaming that Wright doesn’t have to run around because he keeps scoring, you hypocrites never seem to say the same about Simms.

Because Simms hasn't been scoring?

Yet Simms is 10/1 (at W.Hill, same as above Haji odds)...weird, as Haji already has more goals.
But then you see that B.Fred has Simms @ 50/1...why the massive difference for Simms ie 10/1,12/1, 40/1, and 50/1 ??

Well you would hope so…we haven’t seen a Wright goal for some time though so if he got to 15 this season that would be reasonable .

This season is so exceptional, I've voted for someone else. Haven't a clue who it will be!

Tats, EMC and Eccles already have 9 goals between them, so could one of them surprise us with an individual goal-fest in the next 28 games? It may seem unlikely, but this is already a season like no other.

And who knows who may be joining us in the January window?

So if you’re scoring you don’t have to work hard for the team. But if you’re not scoring you do.
Why can’t you do both?
Just asking as obviously I am more than a little puzzled with the logic.

Got to be worth an E/W bet at 50s.... silly pricing.
