CCC.... the absolute fecked up way they have managed this and pretty much every major thing in the City. And the mechanism to influence their behaviour is built and ready to use..... The ballot box.

I notice some people have mentioned CCC re land and building a new stadium. That would be fine if SISU had made an attempt to buy land or shown any intent to build a new stadium; without that any protest is futile.

SISU needs pressure because ultimately they own the club and shape the club policies.

I think Wasps deserve pressure if we want the club back at the Ricoh.

SISU won't build a new stadium, so it has to be Wasps.

Long term to get us back in Coventry permantly: CCC with pressure from SISU, either new land or taking the Ricoh if Wasps sell up
Short term to get us back to the Ricoh on another lease deal: Wasps. SISU cannot do any more

I voted CCC as I tink the Ricoh is out if the question long term whilst Wasps are here, but I cannot at the stage see any reason why CCC cannot agree planning permission with SISU to build a new stadoum. SISU need to declare their interest though which I do not see happening.

From where we are at the moment I can't see past needing to pressure Wasps. Even if you believe SISU intend to build a ground, and therefore pressure needs applying to CCC, that will take years so we still need the Ricoh in the meantime.

Wasps are the only ones blocking a return to the Ricoh by making unreasonable demands. That should be where the pressure is applied.

The council also needs to be held to account over their claims they'd never spoken to CCFC about a new stadium which they had to backtrack on when Duggins dropped them in it and their stalling over the land at Woodlands. Why can't CCFC be offered a similar deal to the one the council has given Wasps with car park C? Its not good enough for the council just to fall back to 'there's been no planning application' as we haven't reached that stage yet.

I always had an inclin that at the eleventh hour we may still be at the Ricoh, that looks more than doubtful now. The next stage has to be how, when or even if we return. Obviously questions to Sisu and Wasps, the question to Sisu, our owners has to be what are their plans and in what scenerio. Don’t think there’s much we can do about Wasps to be honest. As for the CCC the big question has to be where within Coventry could there be land to build a new stadium. I doubt we can survive as a viable business, an EFL football club into next season as we are, we don’t even know if SA will be an option again, can’t go on like that. Fans groups be it Trust, SBT there are others need to up the anti now, ask questions now and demand answers now. There’s councillors, there’s MPs likely to be different ones in the near future, Robinson retiring, possibly Jim Cunningham so there’s potentially new brooms looking to make their mark with the locals.
As we stand our in my opinion our future looks grim.

Wasps and the local authority in equal measure. One was the predator and the other the facilitator.

Down with franchise sporting models that clearly have less interest in sport than business.
