well done for missing the point

people were crying about us getting relegated and we ended up in the play offs and that was much later in the season

it's too early for all this performative online bullshit

No you’re missing the point

We’ve spent £45 million, I could understand when we’ve spent nout, but when you’re still starting off slow you have to question it

You can’t do that every season, the teams get stronger around you, there’s to much of a gap to fill.

No need right now. Think this is a bit much. Another slow start after having spent a lot of money is not a good look though.

It seems people are starting to take note, but I said previously we lacked leadership and was laughed at. We lost our assistant manager, and replaced him with an army of people with clipboards who come across like Ken Deluded that one time he sat in the dug out.

Player-wise, who's got it in them to take a game by the balls? Very few. We look lazy and our application is poor. Mentally weak. There's also a few players that just seem completely uninterested about being here. Our 'captain' came on in the week and we capitulated. Just about sums it up. I said it yesterday, but if you're going to lose, go down with a fight and make them earn it at least. I'm not seeing that at all.

Robins has still got credit it in the bank for me, but he needs to sort it out quick time. He's making the same kind of mistakes regarding game management and these stupid fucking pre-cooked substitutions. If there's players not performing or looking disinterested then leave them out. If they aren't listening to him, then they can stay on the training ground until they do. What we are seeing is unacceptable, but I do hope he can turn it around.

Those voting Robins out need to be careful what they wish for. We’re missing our most influential player. £45m or £0 players are human beings and need time to bed in. The only time I’d even start considering a change would be the end of the season.

The gelling argument worked last year but not now when 9/11 starters have been here at least a year.

Robins has so much goodwill in the bank that I don't think sacking him will be a viable option under anything but the most drastic circumstances; a huge portion of our fanbase won't stand for it.

It also strikes me as unlikely that DK will stretch the purse strings to get in an experienced replacement ready to hit the ground running.

What I believe needs to change, as I said in another thread, is that we need to concede that the new coaching structure hasn't worked, give at least one of them a payoff and get in a proper, experienced and respectable AM because Robins clearly works at his best when being given good (and often contradictory to his own instincts) advice, which he clearly isn't getting from the four coaches.

Like many others, I do get a strong feeling we're nearing the end of the Robins era and that there'll likely be a mutual parting of ways in the offseason should we not make the playoffs.

sack people after 6 games?

No new manager is coming in without his own ensemble. Don’t think anybody would be happy with a busy bench like ours. Irks me that King is trying hard to make us like other clubs that aren’t even successful.

It just feels like dèjá vu from last season. Expectations sky high, Simms & Wright having extremely poor starts, struggling in the middle of the park. MR has turned it round in the past, I hope he can do it again. If there was a change at the top, my concern is that DK has quite openly admitted that he’s not a football man (an astute businessman, yes) but would he appoint the right replacement. Hopefully things turn around very quickly. Keep the faith ladies and gentlemen! PUSB

In the playoff season I had someone telling me after about 8 games the next match was must win or we'd be relegated.

Plainly obvious to me, and many others, that this structure simply is not working and there's no reason to believe it ever will

That would be expensive and an omission from King that he got it wrong. He’s more likely to sack Robins.

Why? you could have made the argument at this stage last season that people needed to be sacked

it's plain madness to think about sacking anyone after 6 games, they will rightly be given the chance to turn it around

Are we all forgetting where we have been?? MR has to stay. All the results done has humbled fans. Most on banter pages or in cov groups constantly giving it about previous players or other clubs need to look hard at where we are at! We still don't even own our stadium ffs sometimes it's cringey! What's even more cringe is fans saying MR has to go the cov plan is a 5 year plan and I fully expect MR to get that time

If Robins goes he can blame his team selection in games , but more than anything the players need to take a good hard look at themselves, but unfortunately that’s the difference between premier players and lower league, the will to win and that’s what top clubs look for in a player, not just ability.

Then it's on us to be realistic.... ohare and palmer gone in summer... no real strength in centre of the park and we can see from these performances what we have ain't good enough.... the back room changes don't seemed to of helped at all!! Don't fix what isn't broken and now we are paying for it. Same points as Plymouth so far we are dire but if anybody swings it round is MR.

Agree with a lot of that. Bit early for all this. Some poor performances but also you look at Watford away which we could easily have won, Oxford that could’ve been 5 or 6 and spurs in the week. Even yesterday after a pathetic first 30 mins, it could’ve easily been 2-2 at HT (bassette hitting bar/Rudoni shot blocked on line)

Pressure will be growing on Robins and the players but hoping they can step up and handle it.

Unfortunately we have to forget “where we’ve been”. A club and fans who obsess about where we’ve been clearly don’t give a shit about us making the top. We can’t spend time just looking back.

Also, the 5 year plan is to get us up - regardless of manager.

This makes it sound like I want him out. I wouldn’t dream of him going now - and I’d be very angry if he did.

As the poll shows, it's only a minority that wants him out.

King is not an idiot and will be fully aware that if he sacked a club legend now he'd be hated by most of the fanbase for the rest of his time here.

I agree - we’ve been through the mill with Robins and I’ll be forever grateful.

There is no sentiment in football and I believe we have out grown Robins tactical know how. It’s no coincidence that a premier league team hasn’t taken a punt on him

Leicester soon sacked Ranieri after keeping them up then winning the premier league, Cooper sacked from Forest etc.

good things Have to come to an end. I’d rather it come to an end before it gets sour because he is a legend.

maybe there is a job for him working along side king upstairs?

there are so many young and new up coming managers who have new philosophies I just see the same tactics And subs since league 2 albeit with better quality.

Said it a while back about this 5 year plan. People have misinterpreted it as Robins has 5 years to achieve it. That is wrong.

We've changed formations and play style numerous times since League Two tbf.

There weren't many teams playing the box formation at the time either, he was ahead of the curve there.
