Me neither. My little boy and I are in France for starters

I say my little boy. Just turned 13, 5'9" and size 9 shoes. An inch taller than his mother already. He loves telling me he will be taller than me. I'm only 6'2" so hoping for a miracle

Birmingham area has quite a few clubs (Brum / Villa, arguably WBA) and possibly Solihull.

I’d argue that Cov has huge potential support if you bolt on Nuneaton, Leam, Warwick etc.

I don’t think there’s many bigger cities than us with only one club that also has big satellite towns it can tap into. (Maybe Leeds is the only other)

Brum under Bruce played the “bigger club” card when we were both in the Champ and poached McSheff and King. I loathed them for their arrogance at the time.

Right now - we are a bigger club in terms of stadium, position and probably ave att and (just for the sake of a measure) registered fans.

To be fair to them they did help us out when we needed. They have potentially weakened their position by doing so. Places like - I dunno - Balsall Common - halfway between Cov and Brum might now and in the future (particularly if we are Prem) have kids coming through who will support us rather than them. They could have easily said “nope, off you trot” and we might have ended up playing in Burton or Walsall with even less gate receipts and income. Small variations often have big long term implications.

Robins went out of his way to praise how good Brum had been to us.

We were there before the game about 30 blues fans turned up, no colours. Heard one say why so many Cov think they thought it was an away pub. No trouble we left about 2.15 there was a van of coppers there keeping an eye on things. Went back after the match and had a quick pint before headed home about 6. Van of plod still there with a dozen or so blues fans but all calm at that point.

Shows how short some memories are.

We were homeless. Birmingham took us on. Without them it would have been Northampton or worse. Met several Brum supporters who went to our games and had more entertainment than at their own games. Still in contact with one of them. Just got a message saying good luck in playoffs.

Hopefully they end up playing Nuneaton Boro within 5 years as far as I am concerned - I genuinely prefer The Villa to them

We saw a small group of blue noses walking in the opposite direction to us after the game,
I was going to ask them for autographs as I could have sworn it was the hillbilly cast from the film 'Deliverance'
Truely amazing!

I wonder if the police were banking on Cov fans to stay in the stadium longer - the lap of honour went almost straight to Singers Corner first, which meant we left the stadium a lot earlier than I was expecting.

Wasn't really much trouble in the end. Birmingham fans chasing 2 people shirters across a duel carriage way, smashed up toilets and then they were running away from Coventry fans by the Wheatsheaf.

An embarrassing day for Birmingham City

I saw a few people knocked out, not sure which lub they were from and blues fans fighting with police.
The police also tried to coral me in with the brummies as I made my way back to the busbut when they heard the dulcet tones I've my exceedingly rare accent they let me on my way.

2 of them were Birmingham fans apparently.

Lot of them tweeting about how their mates were arrested too.

A long, tough day for them.

We walked through about 50 dodgy brummie fans and had no issues. Might be because my Stone Island badge fell off in the limbs.

Back to Wellesbourne for a new one.

Ha I saw him. I thought it would have been hilarious if it was him in the middle of it all. He was a gimp though.

I did. Annoying that people have finally cottoned on that you can catch it from the stop next to train station
