Ok so after 33 games we have 50 points.

Only 13 games to go now!

So to get to the 75 point mark which is normally enough we need 25 points which equates to 1.92 points per game.

That would mean roughly 8 wins 1 draw and 4 losses.

To be extra safe to get to 80 points we would need to average 2.3 points per game.

That would mean roughly 10 wins and 3 losses.

I think we should ignore other teams and just concentrate on getting to our average points needed.

Do you think we will make the top 6?

TBF, Carsley has a 100% record as manager, so if he continues that, very good chance we are going up automatically !

Continue as we have been for the last four mths and we will finish on 78 odd points. Only off the field matters will derail us.

Despite all the negativity flying around we have 13 pts from last 6 league games.

Yep definitely with our dire home form. If we continue you as we have this season that's likely to be 2 wins and 2 draws from our remaining 7 home games.

But carry on the away form and we would win 5 of the 6.

Will have to wait to see how the playing side is going to be effected by the disruption but I think we can definitely get 75 points. That may not be enough though, you could be looking at 77-78 for a play off place this season with possibly as low as 83-85 for second place. It is that tight at the moment, that everyone in the top 7 currently can realistically finish any position 1-7th. Likely the gap may grow going into the last bit of the season but at the moment only 4 point separate the top 7, Bournemouth could go 6th/7th from 1st if games in hand go against them

Yep, every games a must win now - no good winning away then following it up with a losing at home.

I think that is about right.

Taking a quick look through the seasons where 6th spot had a high points total (78+), there's a rough pattern of those teams having early-mid 50s points by this stage in the season. Swindon currently have 55 points. I suspect the required points total will be closer to 80 this year.

Its achievable as long as our owners don't land us with a 10 point deduction!

Ya ur right...could be over by time that run comes about

We need 5-6 pts out of next 3 league games IMO. Beat crew and keep bourn and Swindon close

Then try to win 4 on trot Lil

A win over Swindon would be massive tho
