I am fearful that if the FL imposes a points deduction, not only will it seal our fate, but lead to continual pitch invasions and maybe violence for the rest of the season.

Has anyone actually ever been given a points deduction for a pitch invasion? People keep talking like it's a sure thing, but I can't recall any

Blackpool had a suspended one. I'd guess the same / fines.

It ain't going to happen. It was a handful of fans yesterday not a mass invasion.

So not an actual one then. Plus they sat on the pitch and stopped the game from being played completely, bit different from running about for a minute or two.

Tin foil hats on, everybody: perhaps the pitch invaders were SISU shills, paid to disrupt the match and therefore, enabling SISU to blame the fans for any repercussions...

...nah, they're not that creative...

I doubt if there will be deduction but if there is which would almost certainly seal our fate I predict there will be more impromptu invasions all the time and once a few get on loads will follow, it's pack mentality The only positive thing is I think it shows the football authorities to be the incompetent lot we know they are

They aren't going to let this keep happening week in week out. At some point there will be a suspended points penalty. What happens then will b cup to the fans. Can't think of any other club that has pushed the authorities past that point.

The danger is a points deduction will be imposed late enough in the season that it gets carried over to next season. That's the last thing we need.

Blackpool had a game abandoned and still no points deduction.
I think people are worried about something that will not happen.

The thing about these people going on the pitch to protest for new owners they wouldn't be able to get in the ground anyway if we did get a multi billionaire to own us as they'd be banned from any ground.

The biggest mistake the OP makes is to assume that there is any reasonable chance we might stay up. Our fate is sealed. We will not be mathematically down for a couple of months but we going to go.

The FL have done feck all to help us over the past few years so will likely do their best to condemn us. We are nothing to them. Regardless of the rights and wrongs of recent events including yesterday, the FL are partially culpable in this and if they do follow through with a deduction, then I'm firmly behind all avenues of retribution directed at them, their hq, SISU and frankly anyone who we can get a reaction from. It would be the straw that broke the camels back for me to agree with fire to fight fire and feck em all up!

Hopefully Fisher will be in the middle of that violence.

I suspect (think) giving us a points deduction is akin to taking away our food
After we've already eaten.

Yet you are scared of protesting although you are not a target in the slightest.

When did i say i was scared of protesting? I have protested myself, including outside SISU head office. I approved of all the protests until Sat.

I'm just saying that being in the middle of it all was deeply unpleasant. Most of those around us seemed to be spotty kids who thought it was fun to cause trouble.
