Less than 200 tickets left and hospitality also sold out.
going to be a sell out by the looks of it depending on how many away tickets have been sold

I think they'll be random small areas released once they've gone too.....potentially more to be sold in the hospitality areas too but will no food package etc to get as many people in as possible.
Atmosphere should be brilliant for this game....no excuses imo...can't wait for it!

Big crowd, high expectation. Forgotten how many times that has happened over the last 20 years. The first time I remember it was Hull at home in 2005. Crewe too. Hopefully, the team won't fold under the pressure of the large crowd and expectation. We really should be beating teams like Plymouth fairly easily.

Looking forward to going down to Portsmouth though before that as my lad has never been there before. Early start though.

Don't turn up if that's your thought process....pass your ticket onto someone for Xmas....saves you money, don't need to watch a loss and enjoy your Boxing Day with friends and family

That notion that we loose to big home crowds surley has gone now ?
Play off season beat blues at home to a record breaking crowd. We now get 24k regularly? Even 26, 000 which at one stage was considered amazing.

On big crowds, thought we dispelled this against Birmingham in the play off year, Leicester and Leeds Last year. Excited for this one

It's gonna be absolute Christmas cracker featuring Coventry City's Frank Lampard up against Wayne Rooneys Plymouth Argyll

You've definitely forgotten how many times we've won with bumper crowds in recent years.

Winning against Reading & Birmingham and not conceding against Boro in the last 3 home games of 22/23 has dispelled the 'we always eff it up against a big crowd' for me.

The atmosphere is almost always loads better when we achieve an unexpected result/ performance against a club with a stack of fans in the away end.
The ground will be populated by irregulars to some extent, a smaller away contingent and a fatal expectation that we will bulldoze these easily……many years experience tells me that these combinations don’t always bode well.
We will need at least one early goal to get the place rocking.

Irregulars? They’ll be about 1500 more home fans than usual

Yeah but they contribute nothing to the atmosphere either way.

Standard admission home tickets are never far off selling out every game. Usually no more than blocks 4 & 5 plus a few rows in the north stand are empty
