They've only lost 4 though out of 11. That's 7 out of 11 left without a win. Then add Liverpool in the cup to that.

Sheffield United were in the top 2 and were aiming to finish in the top 2. Wilder said before the game that they're bottom for a reason and expected the win. It was after we lost to Sheffield United. Shock horror Plymouth beat them.

They are bottom for a reason. They are the worst team in the league.

I do think Luton are likely to get something against Bristol today, so even if our game DID end up in a draw, we would still be in the top 6 and very close to overtaking them. They have Leeds away next

Guys is it really worth debating this for so long?

It's a game we should be able to win clearly but also is a tricky one in context.

Not much else to be said.

I’ve said exactly what you said. We should win in reality.

lamps seems intent on painting Plymouth as well the second coming of Brazil

This argument is just both sides refusing to understand each other

The bottom line is that it’s a game we SHOULD win, given the relative quality of the teams.

You expect Lampard to be as arrogant as Wilder was ? Sheff Utd lost because Wilder was exceptionally arrogant on that day and did nothing to change the course of the game. His substitutions were baffling as were his tactics. Lampard is not Wilder.

Exactly that

I am a bit concerned over this over-confidence.

We should win today for sure. Another performance like Friday would be fabulous

The only thing I’d like to debate is ‘someone is due a thrashing [or similar verb]’.

It’s just another nonsense football saying.

We should win, I hope we do. Draw would be OK if results go our way.

Yup. Sheff Utd or Sunderland in the Wembley final

Wrong quote.

This is in response to someone's going to get a thrashing

Who cares? Just people winding themselves up about things that haven't happened yet, see it all the time.
We're a better team, a win would be ideal. They'll be bang up for it though and I wouldn't shit my pants if we got a point, which would guarantee we go to the last game with play off qualification in our own hands.

Sunderland fans panicking if we finish 5th, the way we’re playing we shouldn’t fear anyone, sheff Utd in the final, bring em all on,

Any whispers of team news?
Are we assuming it's an unchanged team?

The next two games are not must wins, pretty much, whatever happens, it's going to the last day.

I agree with whoever mentioned that only needing a draw last day could be a negative.

Even if we only pick up a point from the next 2, it really isn't the end of the world.

Though it would be nice to win today by 3/4 goals whilst Bristol and Boro lose.

I'm not focussed on Plymouth's home form or how they've done against the top 10 or that they beat Liverpool or that they made Wilder look stupid or relegation teams picking up form at this stage of the season.

I'm focussed on Coventry City. Turn up and play the way we're capable of and we'll dispatch them like we should.

If we win our next two and Boro drop any points we’ll secure top 6 before the final match, and there’s a decent chance they do drop points.

That’s obviously the ideal scenario, then all that’s on the line on the final day is getting 5th.

Keep on changing my mind about this game.

Want to think that they'll need to come forward at some point and should leave us chances.

But can't shake the feeling it'll be one of those games where we dominate possession, pass it around the edge of the area without really creating anything then make a massive error at the back to gift them a goal. Then them time wasting.

I was being a sarcastic Tw*t. Don't think I've seen this much bitching between us before the team's been announced or a ball's been kicked. I'll be at the Empire trying not to be a stresshead. To everyone that's travelled, hope the squad turns up for Ya!

same, Sunderland in the semis is a bit more favourable than sheff Utd, and Sunderland fans would probably want Bristol city over us, think we’ll go into the play offs flying, 4 wins from the last 4,

Team we put put against derby wasn‘t great, we’re playing much better since then, our midfield And front 3 is probably one of the best in the league now, can give anyone problems
