This one is my least confident of a win out of our last 3 games. I'm with my son in law who supports Plymouth. Looking forward to the game but their strength is our weakness. He says they sit back and hit quickly on the break. Says they play best against sides that play a high line.

Don't think we will lose but it won't be easy to come away with the win.

This is must win for them. They can't just sit back and hope they score on the counter, they are going to have to go for it at some stage. A draw isn't enough for them now. Match their desire and our better players will see us home.

I know people keep saying they are bottom and bottom for a reason etc, but I am expecting them to play nothing like a bottom of the table side tomorrow.

We have to match their passion, desire and energy.

Their season was messed up by the Rooney fiasco. Not good away from home but at home they're much better and have taken some big scalps. Some people could well be in for a surprise.

They are not going to change the way they play that has been getting them wins just because they need to win. The system they use works. It was good enough to beat Sheffield United recently. Or how about their 3 home games on the bounce in less than 2 weeks where they beat WBA, Liverpool then finished it off with 5-1 against Millwall.

My son in law is slightly confident of them getting something from the game. They are going to be very hard to break down. Remember Derby?

Must confess that I am nervous about today. Much more nervous than for the Albion game. I do think we will win, but also know we could easily lose this one.

We have put two really good performances in, in a row. Hard to replicate that for a third time and also this is our third game in a week, so you have to wonder about knocks and tiredness etc.

We cannot underestimate Plymouth and as I said previously, having watched the highlights of the Middlesbrough v Plymouth game from Friday, Plymouth looked very dangerous and very quick on the break and missed some excellent chances to win the game.

I do honestly believe that today will be a very tough game and the opponents should not be taken lightly.

Hopefully our quality will shine through, but I would not be at all surprised if the very best we can get of this game would be a draw.

This will be a much tougher test than WBA I feel.

Still going for a win, 2 nil, or 2-1, but if we did go on to lose, I would not be shocked at all.

Some detailed analysis here from the Plymouth side. Lots of data crunching on our abilities. Interesting read if you like that sort of thing...

Preview: Plymouth Argyle vs Coventry – Argyle Life

Argyle can ill afford to drop a single point from here. The formula for the final three games is therefore simple: win, win, win.

I’m looking at this the other way. Middlesbrough failed to impress and were lucky to beat Plymouth at home.

Contrasted with our pressure game on Friday where it was almost like watching us play a L2 side rather than a promotion contender.

They’ve got to pick up 3 more points than us and come to the CBS where we’ve picked up 32 points from 14 games under Lampard.

Of course anything can happen but I’m very confident we finish above then.

I’m another one of those who is more nervous than I was for the Baggies game.

I think it’s a combination of getting anxious as the prize of the playoffs approaches, the fact that we are away and our occasional troubles in seeing off lesser teams with a lot to play for.

If we are on our game we will be the better team and create more chances. We need to take them and hope it’s not one of those silly matches where we have 23 shots, 65% possession and score once and they get two from their five shots. It happens.

I’m hoping for a 2-1 win

wer’e playing some of the best football we’ve played all season, so long as we put the same effort in as they will our quality will make the difference, early goal and a comfortable win

That's my main worry. We played Monday night, then Friday afternoon and now are playing again today.

There's no guarantee we CAN put in the same effort.

we’ll be fine, nice early goal and we’ll control the game, bottom of the league for a reason and we’re a completely different team from that freak derby result, we win and hope Luton do us a favour and that league table will look great,

If we played 24th at any other time in the season we would expect nothing but a win.. crazy what the end of the season can conjure up in people’s minds…

They are where they are for a reason. We will win. Keep the faith

No.

I think we’ve only won one game in any away shirt since Fulham in April 22 and that was Huddersfield a year ago.

Exactly, they‘ll be knackered from Friday, worked their bollocks off against mboro and they’ll have to do the same again today, wer‘e getting better every game, 3 points and up the goal difference was confident we’d beat Sunderland and West Brom, even more today

Not convinced we will field the same 11. Hope we do, but wouldn't be surprised if one or two are missing,.with knocks or fatigue etc.

MVE is always the biggest worry isn't he.

Need him to last just a few more games

QPR when Simms scored twice

I think that was in the green and black shirt.

Remember us winning 1-0 here , Freddie Eastwood header. Also remember us before that being trounced 5 when Coleman was in charge

We beat them 3.1 in the FA Cup in 96. I think Salako, Pickering and Telfer scored. Was a freezing cold day.
