You need to go and have a look at some of the tackles that have had red rescinded this season from both the PL and the football league. Most were worst challenges than that.

no, no they were not

he's well above the ball and lands to hands in allen's face

what red has been rescinded were there are 2 borderline red offences in one tackle?

How is Wilson not fit? What is going on? He's a keeper. It's not like we're throwing him on at RB for 90mins and asking him to run as much as MVE does. How "fit" do you have to be as a GK? He's either injured, or he's not? And if he's not? Then he's fit?

For context, when I put if fit I mean if he isn’t injured as been a few rumours he’s still injured

Horrifying performance today, just not at it and never looked like we could break them down. Hope we wake up because we cant rely on a good ref performance or other teams to beat our rivals.

Its still in our hands which is surprising, but lets see what Luton brings.

I can’t think of a reason not to play 4-3-3 at home and 5-3-2 away from home

Saka is basically pointless away from home and him for a CB would be the only change we’d need to make

As should Collins be.

We can't stick with him, even with Dovin out. He's a liability. Either tweak the tactics to play with Wilson whilst Dovin recovers or find someone else. Collins cannot be an option.

Boro nailed on 6 points next 2 games, Wednesday and Norwich can't buy a win between them.

We'll need 4 points from these 2 away games to stay in the top 6 going into the last game imo.

For those who shouted the loudest earlier.....that's football for you. No result was a given. We lost. Middlesbrough lost. Bristol City lost. Biggest shock was Middlesbrough 1-0 up and a penalty they missed against players that never got paid last month with nothing to play for.

I'm happy to have a debate with anyone. But please put some facts behind the debate. Otherwise it just shows you know nothing about football and I'm not here to show people they're clueless. Just want to talk about football.

Didn’t you say Sheffield Weds were the easiest team to beat in the league?

We have to go 5 atb next week, Haji on the wing is not working and our defence looks amateur. Next week will be bear pit, I’m shitting myself at the thought of what Collins may do against their big lads up top

He doesn't make contact with his foot, and his arms are up to protect himself as he's running full pelt at him. Everything looks worse on slow mo and still images.

We can keep moaning about the ref but that's not why we lost, we were lackluster and clueless.

This the same Haji Wright who last week set up and goal and played really well on the wing? The same fella who actually spent the 2nd half up front?

Performance the same as Derby. Poppadom hands has to go, Simms useless today and Wright looked like he couldnt be arsed.
We dont deserve playoffs after that shit and to top it off its a mile walk uphill back to the coaches

The reality is we have several players who aren’t good enough. If you have a team with Lati, Collins, Simms and then others have off days you get beaten. And we were beaten very easily today.

i didn't say it was why we lost, it's still reckless dangerous and endangering a player which is a textbook red as per the laws in 2025

still if you want to be wrong crack on

It’s ridiculous how many times Lampard has to warn Eakin off particular repeated questions.

Lucked out with other results but a shocking all round display, can’t think of a single decent performance so let’s not single players out. Let’s hope lamps gives them a bollocking and they’re up for the final two games. We’ve all seen we’ve got decent performances in us (as well as some absolute honkers), that’s why we are where we are

Having said all that, we’d all have snapped someone’s hand off to be where we are with two games left so on we go…..

Lampard not singling out individuals is why he's the manager and why everyone on this forum isn't

Firstly, Collins. Enough is enough. At fault for 2nd, should have kept out their first goal and the powder puff handling for the 3rd.
We only started to look dangerous when Dasilva and Patterson came on. Thought BTA looked interested too.
Plymouth should have been down to 10 men at 0-0. Horrible challenge, and Haji should have buried that header 2nd half.
The continuous passing around our back 4-5 at 3-1 down was beyond frustrating.
We complained about Robins game management but don’t think Lampard has improved that. You could see after 5 mins we were struggling to find any gaps in their defence to create genuine chances. That continued for the whole game. They are bottom of the league FFS. I am concerned how ineffective our front 3 were.

Football is about opinions, you believe it's a 2025 textbook red and I don't. Seems to me whilst you get soft fouls given as, you also get a lot of fouls let go, even in the PL.

Hey, if we'd of won today, and everyone else in the play off mix had won as well, we'd be exactly where we are now!

So chins up, we've got a bad performance out of our system, and havn't lost significant ground.

The very same. He is head and shoulders our best striker so play him in his best position, and with no EMC a back 5 makes sense

Probably more to do with being one of the best midfielders in England's history I'd say.

You can see why, it will take an unlikely turn of events to take them out of contention.
