Get over it! He's gone now and we move on.

1. Huddersfield are a Championship team
2. Huddersfield have better finances in terms of investment and stadium tenancy
3. Huddersfield have a better chance of staying up than us getting into the play-offs
4. Huddersfield doubled his wages (not the exclusive reason why he went)
5. Huddersfield is 90 miles closer to his family.

That my friends is why he left. They are a better club in this moment in time. FACT! Makes me cringe seeing a thread talking about the Huddersfield game last night.

Look I think this thing with Mark Robins might not have been so bad if he had not come out saying "I have Sky Blue blood in my veins", unfortunately he did so he's not just a judas :jerkit: But I also I shall continue to laugh at him and Uddersfield for the remainder of this season until they get relegated!

He said that after the Preston game which was in January! Plenty of things happen since then.

I could have started working in Republic in Sept 2012 for £6 an hour. I could tell my boss 'I love it here, its in my veins, I don't want to leave'.

Republic go into financial trouble like they've done. Another clothing retail company could offer me £12 an hour. Expect me to stay loyal? Of course not!

BTW Huddersfield won't get relegated.

Yeah they will get relegated if they continue the way they did last night.. What makes me believe this more is that Barnsley are hitting a gold patch at the moment where everything they touch goes to gold, Wolves have got a decent squad (Wish they could get relegated too!) although I think they'll survive, Bristol city are going down and I am sure Peterborough and Huddersfield will go with them!

Mark Robins sucked up to the fans and made himself out to be loyal and to see this project through, we know Huddersfield weren't the only club he was linked with (Blackpool & Donny) he could of chose either one of those teams, but chose Huddersfield.. Now whatever motives made him do that (Frankly they don't bother me in the slightest) he has upset a lot of people connected with Coventry City with what he said fans, ex players, staff, etc.

So please I respect that you might want to just ignore it and move on, that's fine you carry on, While "We all Laugh at Robins, We all Laugh at Robins Na na na na, na na na na" :claping hands::claping hands::claping hands:

My ideal three to get relegated would be Birmingham, Wolves and Huddersfield but can't see it happenning

What I forgot to add is that since January there's been a lot of going on regarding the rent issue. Don't blame him at all for leaving. Now if he went for Donny then I'd be pissed off because they're in the same league.

Also, he left because of the success he had here he knew he could quite easily get another job elsewhere. Did Dowie leave because of the takeover? No, because he wouldn't have walked into another job.

Tell me, CCFC fan or not would you have stayed under the circumstances?

Another annoying Thread! I doubt any Cov fans are bothered about Huddersfield in the slightest. Its the fact that robins commits to the club and then walks out. I love my job and tell my boss that I do, If something better came along then I would leave. What I don't do is publicly announce that I love it here and its in my blood. Football is very different to a 'regular' job.

We as City fans have been through the mill, massive fall, no money, problems behind the scenes and all we want is reassurances. When we get a good manager in and he says he is staying yes I was well happy. But to 3/4weeks later Leave the club he has lost me completely. That is why he is a Cock of the Highest Order!

i think the point ajsccfc is getting at is that at £6 an hour, it would be unlikely you would tell Republic you love it there, and the job was in your veins in the first place...

People have been saying "Since January" with regards to the rent lets get something crystal clear the rent situation was a problem way before January it was only eluded to on a National and Public level before Robins even turned up when they took us to court, it's been boiling under the surface so he knew what the situation was and yeah it may have got worse over the last few months but if it was that bad he could have just left at any time..

Yeah he had great success while he was here and I thank him for putting us in the current positions we are in.. Dowie was a different story at a time you can't compare the two taken everything into account.

I would 100% stay and I know its easy for me to say that as a City fan, but he had all the momentum and was playing for so much in terms of success (JPT & Promotion) only a fool would leave to join sinking ship so it's being proven so far, but Robins will currently after defeat last night will be sure to be questioning himself on whether he made the right move..

Huddersfield might have a better team than all the rest, but how many times have we seen it? Yeah you can have a strong squad, but look at Wolves and Birmingham that you have mentioned and us previously even the stronger squads struggle..

in the interview after the preston game when the financial plight of the club was highlighted to him, he shrugged it off by saying those issues would be resolved, then went on to say he is going nowhere and skyblue blood blah blah...the guy is full of sh1t

I agree he knew what he was getting into to a certain extent. When he took the job in September negotiations were going on and there was even a point where it looked an agreement was made. That for me was what he was told. Problems started happening in December when the 21 day limit was declared by ACL.

Problems didn't start happening in December the problem started happening in 2005 when we moved into the stadium under the current rent agreement, it has taken this long for someone to say "That's not fair, we can't afford to play our Football here" which was done before Robins turned up so its not December that the probelsm started.

We have always been in difficulty financially, if Iain Dowie really would have wanted to resign then he should of done, but your theory of the situation is wrong, I believe during ID's tenure he was constantly linked with Leicester so if he wanted another job it was avaliable to him.

Maybe that game was make or break for him but our season didn't rely on that one game and if that's the case then he is more of a fool for leaving.

I doubt it highly but we'll see

He was probably told that by TF, JS etc. When I am in a job I don't expect to be lied to by my employers. I should trust them.

It's no coincidence the day MR joined Huddersfield it was announced the Ricoh talks have broken down.
