Please for once this season can we not have a boo boy ?
Can we not have preconceived ideas on a player ?
Can we just accept that some will have fantastic performances and some won't ?

Let's clean the slate . Nothing pisses me off more than berating our own players .
Some didn't have the best first season with us , some started slower than others , some we have signed to replace recent legends .
Cut them some slack cause if tonight was a glimpse of what we are going to see this season let's just embrace it and enjoy the ride

This is a forum and we praise and express our disappointments here, I am not keen on Allen, Eccles and Da Silva because I think we need better but I am man enough to give credit where it is required...I thought Allen was great last night

tbf I get the point. People around me in block 15 last night were screaming at Wright second half when a couple of things didn't come off. Mad how flaky so many people are. Support the players FFS.

Yeah nobody is worried about 'praise and disappointment'. But we had people on here a year ago giving the new players really vile abuse, of the kind that was borderline hate crime. Not saying anyone is going that far now, but there is a sense that people pile in on certain players.

They never learn as some of the players getting the same treatment last season are some of the best players we have.

A lot of the negative stuff is during the game and it’s reactive frustration. That’s just fans of most sports. I think it’s a given that anyone out there is trying and so should be backed but discussing performances is equally a huge aspect and valid part of being a fan

I still cringe at the abuse handed out to Kevin Kyle. At best, an average ability player but he certainly didnt improve on the back of the bile he received from large sections of the SBA.

Tbf, although Wright is undoubtedly great and possibly our best player he is very frustrating to watch at times.

He often completely telegraphs his intentions and ends up smashing shots and crosses straight in to the first man.

With a bit more guile he could score 30+ goals a season in this league.

He was top scorer last season adapting to a role that's not been the norm for him. He's started this season looking even better and had been our best player all game last night when the nonsense started.

Someone isn't a 'supporter' if they berate that player the first time they do something 'frustrating'. That's where I'm at with it. Some people's patience seems = zero and the entitlement I see and hear is sh*t.

I have been heavy on some players in the past, Shipley for instance but I hopefully haven't meant any malice towards them except for my disappointment of their displays for CCFC that said I did call him Shitley once and I was quite rightly jumped upon on here

If he was already at the peak of his ability, he wouldn't be playing for us.
