Yes Chris Jones is a very very good fitness coach who’s worked with the best of the best. He was at Chelsea from Mourinho’s first spell and was there all the way until Lampard called him to go to Derby who then gave him a promotion as his assistant manager at Chelsea both times and was the Everton Fitness coach with FL, so its clear to see his results are top tier as every team he’s been at has certainly been fit and strong.
Joe Edwards has been biding his time waiting for an opportunity in management (being the number 1), when it came he unfortunately failed (Milwall) but he was in the Chelsea youth set up for 5 years and was called up by FL’s to be his assistant in 2019, and remained as Tuchel’s (of which when he was sacked) then moved to Everton to join FL again.
So certainly the men Lampard has bought in have good pedigree and have proven results. Christ Edwards has even assisted a team to win the UCL

He's extremely strict with it too.
