It's not like everyone has a run against the relegation fodder either, everyone is playing each other, plenty of points will be dropped between now and the end of the season.

Secured 3rd and they won't risk injury or suspension ahead of the play offs and likely rest their key performers, so this is best chance for us imo.The only game that I'm not confident of getting some kind of result is the last game of the season against Middlesbrough. But they could also have secured promotion by then. And we might have secured a playoff place by then.

I agree mostly with this, its very hard to keep winning and we would have to win 5 out of 8 and draw 1 or 2 games. As soon as we lose it will be very hard, Swansea is never easy for Coventry City and that could be one of them.My opinion as a realist is we won’t be close to the playoffs really. We are 9 unbeaten and still 3 points away. We won’t keep winning and staying unbeaten where as most of the other teams will keep winning due to being a better team and or better squads. We have to win 5 out the last 8 and maybe a draw or two also. Sorry for me it’s no chance. We have been punching above our weight and playing teams all in the bottom 3. Not all but we have played the bottom 3 now.
in no way am I having a go or defeatist it’s just the reality of the situation… with 9 unbeaten and 8 games left we literally need to lose 2 games in 17. The fact we are even in this conversation is a miracle to the team and mark robins but it’s a step too far. More than likely to finish around 12th again and anything top half is a miracle and I’m very proud of them.

If we got that far the dynamics of games change. It'll be a set of knock out football. Every year you see supposedly top teams bottling it.
Getting that far is another matter though. It's so tight. Think there's too much competition at this point. Although given many of them are playing each other, if we do our bit we will jump into a spot on an easier trajectory than our recent strong run of form.
Not getting carried away yet, but I will start pissing my pants in a few weeks if we dispose of Stoke and Swansea.
