In the championship?

will this give us a huge advantage given our playing style?

MR mentioned this on his radio 5 interview and I think it may give us an advantage if we continue to play keep ball

I’m getting quite excited

Problem is in League One we were better than most teams on paper and a good surface helped us take advantage of that.

In the Championship most teams are better than us on paper.

Better pitches will help us to play the way we want to, but I don't think it will make it any easier to get results.

Best pitch I seen this season was Rotherham’s. Great game.

When you move up a level your mistakes get punished more often. If I have a worry, it’s that playing out from the back will cost us more dearly than it has in previous seasons.

After the 3 or 4 mistakes they seemingly stopped making them. We need to be brave cause of the pay off in term of giving chances and conceding goals

We haven't got the players to play route 1 that's not our philosophy no more. We play better on the deck passing and moving. We have very good technical players and more to come in......PUSB

Playing our style of football didn't do us too badly against Brum.

Granted they are struggling in that league but when you looked at missed chances we could and should have won both games.

That’s not what I meant. We can’t abandon our style of play...we just need to be more careful and understand it’s okay to hoof it out if the situation warrants it. Trying to be clever in a dodgy situation when you’re the last man will get us in big fucking trouble.

Looking at Arsenal’s goal yesterday, I’m amazed they got away with knocking it around in their own box, in front of Man City’s attack.

Never going to be perfect. Think it's more imports t to be brave and keep playing our way even after a mistake

A good playing surface is really important. A friend of mine asked Rodney Trotter.

We definitely cut out mistakes as the season went on, esp Fadz. Dunno if that was because we earned the respect to stop teams pressing us so much for fear we'd cut through them rather than us getting massively better at it.

Champ will be more likely to press against us and do it quicker so we'll have to wait and see. I certainly hope we stick with it, but I feel it's a tactic we can only do effectively with the extra centre back.

Yep I expect it to be quicker maybe slightly more physical the quality of football will be far better set pieces etc looking At the Hamer I think we have someone who looks excellent at set pieces ourselves
