....are now playing a higher standard. Must be a full team out there. We took them for granted and now they ply their trade above our level.

Dimi Konstantopolous
Freddie Fucking Sears

Which doesn't necessarily mean they aren't still shit to be fair. Just that we have sunk lower than their level.
Apart from the players we misjudged of course.

Maybe but my first two are playing regularly in the upper echelons of the championship. Something Im sure 'we' thought we'd never be able to do with that quality of player. If you catch my drift.

Most of those aren't playing at a higher level than when they played for us are they?

OP clearly means they are all plying their trade above Coventry City currently. Try to use some initiative mate

All these players were deemed as shit while they were here, but seem to be doing well now not that hard to understand is it?
But that could be said about hundreds of players past and present all depends on the type of football played formations partnerships etc.
Their are also managers who come into this equation just look at Gordon Strachan would you say that he has been more successful since leaving us?

Give him a break. He is trying to work out how he can blame CCC / CET / Wasps / AL for this happening.

Leon Best surprised a few in the premier league with Newcastle after being average for most of his time with us

A few footballers look great in a good team, but decidedly average in a poor team. That's why a keeper who looks assured can suddenly look dodgy behind a crap defence, and why a solid looking defence can turn to jelly if they don't trust their keeper! As I'm typing this, the one thing that annoys me about a player with a bit of ability is not giving 100%. Make me eat my words at Notts County Frank Nouble (please)!!!

What, you didn't see the same games as me then, he was often doing good stuff. Remember he was only a teenager when he played here, so give him a bit of leeway.

Baker and Marshall are in the same league? You thought Tabb and Christie were shit?

Some awful shouts on here.

Henderson was unbelievable when on loan here.

Tabb was very good, won fans player of the year in his last season if I remember correctly.

Jack Cork was a youngster when on loan and I seem to remember him being our best player on a number of occasions.

Leon Best's last season here was pretty good which indicated he was absolutely championship standard it not slightly higher.

Freddy Sears was and still is shite.

I must admit, whilst I never thought Tabb was shit, i didn't think he was particularly great either. I'm surprised he's managed to play in that tier for so long. That said he was much better centrally than on the wing, he literally had the weakest shot I've ever seen on a pro footballer.

He's obviously a good honest pro......and one that has miraculously gotten over his home sickness

You thought that Jay Tabb was shit? As opposed to being our best midfielder throughout his time here? It's all about opinions, I guess...

Not sure who “we” are? I genuinely always thought Dimi was a very good goalkeeper. The deliberate misspellings (Konstantdropalot, Kantstopalotofshots etc.) may have been amusing, but they didn’t reflect his ability.

Yeah I thought he was ok anyway and players like Sears we're learning the game at the time.

Leon Barnett is probably the one that surprised me - he was pretty terrible in his spell here.

Plenty havd also gone the other way. When Partridge was here he looked great on occasions.
